Los interiores de madera desprenden una opulencia madura que le transportará a otro mundo. Cada dormitorio está amueblado de forma similar con camas, armarios, artefactos balineses mínimos y cosas para la decoración. Los grandes ventanales dan al jardín y a la piscina, lo que permite que la luz natural empape la habitación con una luz alegre. Los cuartos de baño de cada habitación están equipados con todas las comodidades necesarias para los huéspedes.

Extending out to meet a portion of the rice fields and with a view of the mountains of Munduk, Villa Sanak's swimming pool sports an infinity edge and gives you the luxury to lavishly splash around to your heart's content. The mosaic-tiled surface of the pool gives it a luxurious and fun element and the timber pool deck houses comfy sun beds with large, traditional parasols to keep you from the sun. Just beside the pool, you will find a sunken sitting area under a traditional bale, furnished with cushioned benches from where you can enjoy the stunning view and relish the fresh air.

With the friendly local staff looking after you and the villa, you can rest easy and enjoy your stay without a moment's worry. Since they know the lay of the land, they can help arrange for nature walks and such trips into town that would allow you to really engage with the place. A daily breakfast is served to guests, and if needed they can even prepare a lunch or dinner, for added charge!
This villa is eco-friendly, and the owner has put in much thought to minimise the negative impact on the environment. They used natural non-treated quality wood for the construction of the home, created internal water and waste management system, and reduce the use of plastic within its vicinity.
Since Munduk is a nature lover's dream come true, you can walk around and explore the mountainous region with or without guides. There are nature walks, waterfall walks, treks, and canoeing as well.
9.4/10Cuisine is good. We wanted to do a massage for the Whole family but this needed to be booked in advance, so at night we were somehow bored because there was not realy something to do.
10/10I stayed three nights here with my husband and our two teenage sons. Nestled in a beautiful valley with views to the across lush green rice paddies and mountains covered with clove trees and palms, Sanak provides a chance to experience the best of rural Bali. It's a long and windy drive over the mountains from the south but well worth it. With just 11 villas, this feels like a boutique retreat offering a fairly unique experience. Most guests are there for the peace and beauty of the place and many guests take the opportunity to do guided walks, treks or canoeing - we did a waterfall walk and a canoeing trip and both were reasonably priced and well worth while, with excellent local guides. Most of the staff are from the local villages and you get the sense that they take great pride in the resort. The villas are lovely with a truly Balinese flavour and the cool evening breeze makes sleeping comfortable without air con - once you adjust to the sounds of dogs and roosters! The restaurant offers a limited menu but the food is of a very good standard and there is enough variety for a stay of a few days. Our whole family loved Sanak's simple elegance and we take away lovely memories of a special part of Bali. Thank you.
10/10We stay one night in this place which have beautiful setting in the middle of rice field and mountain view with nice garden surround the villa. Sebastian welcome us with friendly and a coconut water. The food is good from breakfast, lunch and dinner we not complain about it. The price of food is not too bad consider with the remote location and the taste is delicious. All The staff friendly and helpful, I got surprised yummy birthday cake after dinner. Thank you for that. Its so sweet. The room is small not as our expected but we enjoy and can sleep well. In the afternoon some local girls practise dancing in front of restaurant and its good entertainment while enjoy the sunset. I manage to had massage in their spa. Okta the therapist girl did good job to make my muscle relax and the price for massage is not expensive. Do not expect TV, AC or Coffee maker inside the room. I think it design without it. Sebastian and staff farewell us friendly before we leave. Over all we enjoy our stay and recommend to whom like to getaway and looking for peaceful with surrounding by nature.
10/10I don't know where to start but Sanak Retreat is super beautiful ! Do not expect party or night out nearby Sanak as this place is far from the usual tourist places but that's what make Sanak so special. A place for total relaxation. Very well designed, attention to detail in service and the design. Staff are very professional and super friendly. We eat there 3x a day as no restaurants nearby but we knew this and we love it. The view is amazing especially during sunset. They have beautiful spa and also offers some well tailored programmes (trekking, waterfalls trip and many others). I'm so happy and I'm booking again for my next visit this coming October :-) See you soon Sanak!
