Villa Cahaya Selat is what you would call a modern Balinese home created from naturally-sourced materials reshaped into a contemporary holiday heaven. Featuring décor that speaks to the authenticity of Balinese culture, this beautiful, comfortable sanctuary is the perfect holiday spot for families and friends. Located in northern Bali, somewhere between Selat and Lovina, the villa has four bedrooms, an infinity swimming pool, and splendid views from every spot in the villa. The villa features a main house and two villas with two bedrooms each - Villa Master Suite and Villa Deluxe - to offer privacy and a sense of security to guests.

Villa Cahaya se enorgullece de presentar dos pabellones individuales que albergan los cuatro dormitorios de la villa; dos suites principales se encuentran en Villa Master Suite y dos dormitorios dobles en Villa Deluxe.
La Villa Master Suite cuenta con dos plantas, con un dormitorio en cada nivel adyacente a un balcón privado con vistas a los jardines y una terraza cubierta con una gran mesa de comedor. Uno de los dormitorios cuenta con camas individuales con dosel y el otro cuenta con una cama doble grande con dosel para su comodidad. Hay vestidores separados en cada dormitorio y el dormitorio de arriba incluso cuenta con duchas interiores/exteriores en el cuarto de baño.
La Villa Deluxe es en sí misma un espacio autosuficiente con dos dormitorios con baños en suite, un dormitorio totalmente amueblado y una zona de masajes o bienestar. Esta parte alberga incluso una terraza cubierta que ofrece espléndidas vistas al mar.

La villa se ha construido en varias plantas como si estuviera tallada en el propio terreno, ya que los jardines serpentean por el solárium y luego por la villa principal. La piscina infinita de 12 metros ofrece abundantes vistas del paisaje, repleto de vegetación natural, y del lejano mar. La belleza de esta región reside en la serenidad con la que uno se acerca a este paraíso natural aún por domesticar. La cubierta de la piscina ha sido equipada con tumbonas para que pueda disfrutar de las vistas mientras se estira en las sillas. Incluso hay una paca tradicional con una cama de día, ideal para una siesta por la tarde.
La villa cuenta con una zona de estar mínimamente amueblada y bien decorada, con muebles de madera natural que incluyen cómodos sofás y sillones, así como mesas de centro. Un espacio familiar que bien podría llamarse un hogar lejos de casa, la zona de estar es perfecta para pasar el rato con los seres queridos por las tardes mientras se disfruta de una hermosa vista de la puesta de sol desde la terraza. Las puertas correderas de cristal conducen directamente a los exuberantes jardines, e incluso hay un televisor de pantalla plana montado en la pared frente a los asientos para su entretenimiento.
Incluso en un espacio tradicional, la villa ofrece amplias comodidades modernas, como TV y WiFi en toda la propiedad. Los huéspedes son libres de elegir dónde quieren cenar, ya sea en la mesa que se encuentra dentro de la zona de estar o al aire libre en la terraza. Hay tanto que ver en el exterior que puede disfrutar tanto de la comida como de las vistas, y si alguna vez desea comer en la comodidad de su salón, ¡también puede hacerlo! La cocina está totalmente equipada y lista para su uso.
While you're staying at Villa Cahaya Selat, your trip is well taken care of by the friendly and generous staff at the villa. From airport transfers to arranging excursions and meals, they will arrange for everything upon request. Some of the services such as a daily breakfast, Wi-Fi, security, etc. are included in the rental however, additional services such as massage treatments and car rentals are charged separately.
Si desea viajar por Bali y quiere volver a un hogar sereno lejos de todo el bullicio, ésta sería la elección perfecta. Convenientemente situado de caminatas, excursiones, restaurantes y templos, la villa resulta ser un buen punto de partida para la mayoría de las atracciones de la zona. Situada cerca de Lovina, la villa está incluso cerca de campos de arroz y cocoteros que ofrecen unas vistas increíbles desde la propiedad.
10/10We were two families to stay at Villa Cahaya for two weeks in July 2019. The place is absolutely sublime. With two main houses, the estate is designed to accommodate up to eight people while providing sufficient privacy also for two separate groups of travelers. All rooms are tastefully furnished in modern Bali style and meticulously clean. The four spacious bedrooms each have a private attached bathroom (one with an outside shower!), two a separate dressing room. We enjoyed the crystal clear pool in the well-kept garden. Watching the sunset from one of the terraces, with a splendid view towards Java, was one of our daily highlights. The staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. Komang took us on interesting day trips to waterfalls, Buddhist temples and old villages, rice and coffee plantations. He also organized a snorkeling tour at one of the famous diving areas on the northern coast of Bali. Putu the maid is an excellent cook and served delicious local dishes following our preferences. We savored the Balinese cuisine in different and very tasteful ways: fresh fruits from the garden for breakfast, different menus for the kids and the adults in the evening accompanied by an interesting wine selection. We definitely recommend Villa Cahaya for spending most relaxing holidays in tropical surroundings.
9.6/10We were a group of seven people eager to see Bali’s real nature and to enjoy traditional food & culture. Villa Cahaya and the whole team made it easy for us to fulfill our wishes; the recommandations and organisation of trips as well as Putu’s food were fantastic. The housing area and especially the astonishing pool was great and we enjoyed beautiful moments during sunset, completed by a thoughtful selection of wine. Villa Cahaya’s atmosphere is absolutely quiet and relaxing. We highly recommend this place and it’s team around Komang and Putu!

10/10We have been at Villa Cahaya with two teenagers and we were overwhelmed about the team’s welfare. Putu considered all of our food wishes and even managed to take care about one of my daughter’s food intolerance. Komang chose wonderful day trips and we can say that we got a comprehensive insight of Bali’s nature as well as it’s habitant’s. The design and structure of the villa helped all of us to recreate at the best; there are so many spots where you can be by oneself or be together like the generous terraces or the magnificent pool area with its big adjacent “Bale”.

Safe and very careful driver service, as well as skillful in organizing interesting excursions. overall very good technical infrastructure in villa: WLAN in villa area and in car, all reliable with only very little outages; water distribution excellent, air-condition very good, beds excellent; pool always clean and well maintained.
