Towering tropical plants and trees border and surround the swimming pool, for a wholesome and exotic experience. The periphery of the villa is dotted with even more foliage, giving the villa an authentic beach town vibe. The swimming pool is the perfect place for some downtime, or if you wish to get some exercise in early mornings or even late at night. 10/10The villa was perfect for a large family holiday. Relaxing around the amazing pool, well appointed rooms. The staff are amazing, welcoming and happy to provide any assistance. The in-house massages were loved by the women. The hustle and bustle of Sanur was close enough without encroaching on our peace. Little shop next door, cafes and massage facilities nearby while short 5 minute walks had us ate Ikon shopping centre and a range of different shops cafes and bars were also nearby. We all loved it.
9.6/10We travelled as an extended family to Villa Karmagali. The Villa itself was spectacular. It has a beautiful pool and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. We were served a lovely breakfast every morning from a quite extensive list and enjoyed afternoon tea each afternoon. The staff were very friendly and they looked after us extremely well. The villa's location was great a short walk to the main street and the beach. I would highlyrecommend Villa Karmagali and hopre to return soon.
8.6/10We had our whole family for this trip, the Villa staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful from start to finish, truly lovely. We had breakfast included so was a nice way to start our day, having chef available was handy on busy days when you didn’t want to eat out. The bedrooms are lovely & well appointed, beds were very comfortable so a good nights sleep each night was amazing. The large swimming pool was great and the whole family enjoyed it. A large communal area was nice space to catchup with everyone. Having the on-site spa services was nice and hidden away. Overall a lovely spacious villa, would highly recommend if you are wanting to relax in a quiet location with a larger group of friends or family.
10/10The villa is perfect! Really nice staff, thank you Deli and Tara! We stayed here with our 1,5year old daughter and they made sure she had everything. They had a babybed and babychair. We also had a massage at Karmagali hotel, which was also perfect!
10/10We have found a real hidden gem in the heart of Sanur, a pretty seaside town in Bali! The Karmali Boutiques offers a unique experience, where refinement and tranquility come together harmoniously for a stay all in the Balinese sweetness of life! The accommodations are magnificent, the service is so attentive, the atmosphere so serene that you cannot but feel good there! As soon as we arrived at Karmagali Boutiques, we were greeted by warm and professional local staff who were ready to meet our every need. The attentive and personalized service offered by the establishment's team is simply impeccable. They are always available to help you plan your excursions, advise you on the best local restaurants or simply to offer you a welcoming smile at all times. Do you need anything? You just have to ask. A scooter rental to try getaways in the rather hectic traffic of the island? Just ask, the next day your 2 wheels are delivered to your door. Frédéric, the master of the place, knows how to make himself available to guide you; rich in his experience as an expatriate European, he knows all the difficulties, questions, requests, wishes that holidaymakers can express, and all the tricks to remedy them, which makes his advice all the more relevant, whether you are in the search for simplicity, authenticity, luxury or even extravagant evenings! The rooms are a perfect blend of modern comfort and traditional Indonesian aesthetic; every detail has been carefully thought out to create an atmosphere of relaxation and luxury. The bed is amazingly comfortable, the bathroom is spacious and stylish, and the little decorating touches add a touch of local charm. You can also enjoy the pool as soon as you jump out of bed, or before you jump into bed! Karmagali Boutiques is the ideal place to recharge your batteries and relax: calm and zen all day and all night long. No noise . The establishment has a magnificent garden and a long swimming pool: terrible! IT is ideally placed: the beach is a 10-minute walk away, the restaurants on the sand follow one another for hundreds of meters, you can find happiness there whatever the volume of your purse, and frankly, never disappointed: ultra local warung to the trendy lounge, passing why not by luxury establishments. . In addition, many restaurants, shops and local attractions are nearby, which offer a multitude of choices for your activities outside the establishment (visits to temples, boat trips to neighboring islands, diving, surfing, massages... ..) In short, Karmagali boutiques seduced us with its charm, its location, its impeccable service and its serene atmosphere. Whether you want to relax by the pool, explore the scenic surroundings or immerse yourself in the local culture, this property offers everything you need for an unforgettable travel experience. We loved it, and we're going back as soon as possible!
10/10We stayed here for a month and the house was great! The pool was private and the perfect temperature, the house was just as nice and just like the pictures (except there was no desk in the upstairs bedroom but there was one in the downstairs room). The twice weekly cleaning and pool cleaning was a nice addition. It wasn't right on the main street but was walkable in 10-15 minutes. The host was responsive and answered and questions we might have. We didn't use the hotel amenities (food delivery and spa) but is available to this house. Internet worked well!
10/10Our family of 11 adults and 3 children stayed at Karmagali. There is no better place to relax in a beautiful, loving environment. The rooms and facilities are immaculate and well appointed. The staff is absolutely amazing and responded promptly and efficiently to every request. Putu arranged drivers and activities for us and every experience was top notch. Without reservation, I can recommend Karmagali especially for family or friend groups who rent the entire villa. Even singles will find reserved, private spaces and tranquility at Karmagali.
10/10We were a family group of 6 adults & 7 teenagers so we fit perfectly into the 7 bedrooms. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Location is just a short walk or cycle to many restaurants & the beach.
10/10We had the most wonderful stay! This place is a gem and we all felt like we were living in paradise. The staff is so friendly and makes a point to greet you by name. Putu was our main hostess (assisted by Dewi, Tara, Yopi and several others). They did a fabulous job of assisting us in every way we needed, arranging meals, massages, sending out and delivering our laundry, etc. The owners of the villa also stopped by to make sure we were having a great stay and to be sure all the prepartaions for our cooked on site New Years Eve dinner were taken care of. They really pay attention and care about every detail. The food, presentation and ambiance were all wonderful! The rooms and bathrooms are all equally gorgeous. There was need to argue about who got what suite because they were all comprable which is important when you are splitting the cost among 4 families. The best part is the pool! Our family was always in it. The water temperature was perfect, there is a large shelf area to sit on an enjoy a cocktail. We booked directly through the hotel and had breakfast and afternoon tea included in our stay. Each adult and teen received a complimenarty 30 min massage, but Yuli has such great hands, we all booked additional time with her. We also had access to the bikes and used them several times. It may seem a bit of a maze at first to find your way to town and the beach, but you catch on quick and it is easy to walk or bike. Without any reservations, I recommend the Karmagali!
10/10An oasis amongst the back lanes of Sanur, you have a wonderful visual as you arrive through the carved wooden doors stepping into this rectangular central pool surrounded by palms and shrubs which are privacy screens for the 6 suites making up the courtyard. There are 2 double sun beds at the shallow end near the entrance which we took full advantage of. Our de-luxe( mid range) suite was perfect for our needs, & had a terrace under a lovely thatched roof. We had 2 comfortable bean bags at the front and a L shaped bench with wooden table at the back where we enjoyed breakfast and afternoon tea each day and one lunch & one dinner@ all local food and most enjoyable. You enter the bedroom with marble floors through a glass door and a large comfy bed with full mosquito nets. The bathroom runs full length behind & consists of firstly a wardrobe with safe & a well stocked mini bar to your left. Then to the right, twin round sinks and then a toilet tucked around further and a large walk in shower with large rose with a fern bed opposite under some sky lights. All the staff were very polite, friendly & helpful and the owners came around every day to chat & ensure we were enjoying our stay which was a lovely personal touch.
10/10We rented out the whole villa space and it was WONDERFUL! The beds were clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place to family and friends coming to Bali. Plus, the Sanur area has great restaurants.
10/10My family and I (8 adults and 4 children) had the most wonderful stay at Villa Karmagali. The resort is spectacular and looks as good as the photos make out. The owners and staff were so welcoming and friendly and were very helpful to us during our stay. The food too was a definite highlight, and very reasonably priced. Compliments to the chef!! We enjoyed the location and found the short walk to eateries and the beach very manageable, even with children. We hope to come back someday!
