Villa Bali Il Mare is a two-storey seafront residence reminiscent of the grand manors and mansions in Europe – although with an architecture and design that are more appropriate to Bali’s warm climate and tropical surroundings. The villa has four bedrooms. Two of these are glass-walled bedrooms on the ground floor. Both have king-sized beds as well as dedicated bathrooms with bathtubs and rain showers. These bedrooms have direct access to the infinity pool. On the second floor are two attic style bedrooms. Both have king-sized beds as well as dedicated bathrooms. Both open out to balconies overlooking the infinity pool, the lawn and the sparkling sea.

Parallel to the edge of the villa’s covered terrace is the 25-meter infinity pool. Dive into its inviting, crystal clear waters for routine laps or for some splashy play. Or, wade unmindfully along the swimming pool’s length as you stare out to the shimmering sea. For a breather, you can lie on cushioned, woven wood pool beds partially covered by large umbrellas on the covered terrace.
Right at the middle of the breezy, spacious and high-ceilinged ground floor is the living area with its hefty and long couches facing a widescreen TV. Here, you can all get together for the highly anticipated new episode of the latest blockbuster series. Or, to relive the high points of your best loved classic film. Behind one of the couches is the dining area. On its long wooden table that can seat 12, you can all get a taste of authentic local specialties – as well as Western staples – freshly cooked by a designated member of the staff at the fully-equipped, modern kitchen behind the dining area. On the second floor is another TV lounge and a billiards table where you can all play for some bragging rights. Although you can vie for more out on the villa’s tennis court. Almost at the edge of the property’s well-maintained lawn is a spacious bale perfect for yoga or for some alone time.
In charge of carrying out the daily services is a staff led by a manager backed by a pool attendant, a gardener, a laundry helper, a security detail as well as housekeepers. Upon your request, a driver, a personal guest assistant, and a spa therapist may be called in. However, their services come with a separate charge. Bikes, a scooter, a car and a boat are also available for rent.
Villa Bali Il Mare is based in the village of Penyabangan. Right from the beach in front of the villa, you can, just before sunrise one morning during your vacation, set out to sea for some really close encounters with pods of dolphins. Then, you can head off to nearby Pulau Menjangan or Deer Island – acknowledged as one of Bali’s best snorkeling and dive spots – famous for its colorful corals, underwater gardens and cliffs as well as for wild deer watching amidst the island’s temples. On separate occasions, you can also go on nature trips to the Gitgit Waterfall, the Banjar Hotsprings, the West Bali National Park and to Pura Pulaki or the Monkey Temple.
