Tree Top is a 4-bedroom luxury villa in Ubud. Three of these bedrooms have king beds, while the other has twins. The bedrooms are decorated in a rustic style with earthen materials, which make them blend perfectly with the surrounding greenery and landscape. Large doors provide great views. Each bedroom has its own balcony with a seating area where you can have your morning coffee and evening drink, surrounded by nature.
The bedrooms are also air-conditioned for your comfort. The ensuite bathrooms with showers have a roof-open design. If you are a large group, you can also rent the neighboring Bedulu Cliff Estate, which offers 9 more bedrooms. Together, these two villas can sleep a lot of guests.
Tree Top is an apt name for this property because of its unique location. It virtually hangs over the Petanu River on a cliff and is surrounded by lush greenery. A beautiful balcony runs through the front side of the house that faces the river, offering gorgeous views of the river and the tropical vegetation. A section goes down into the river where you can wade through the shallow water.
In another section of the villa, you will find a manicured lawn and a lush tropical garden. At the center of the garden, there is a fabulous private pool that looks very inviting. The poolside wooden deck has many loungers where you can relax and let the sun dry you naturally after a swim.
The interior is the perfect mix of Balinese vibes and French art. Each corner has been thoughtfully designed with close attention to achieving the perfect balance between nature, art, and luxury. The living/dining space has its own pavilion. It is a large open-plan room with a sofa and armchairs in one corner and a 6-sitter dining table in the other corner. The dining and living areas face the valley and the jungle. One entire wall of this pavilion is completely open, thus ensuring maximum views.
The well-equipped kitchen is located just behind the dining table. It features many modern appliances and a breakfast bar. You can cook yourself if you want or ask for a professional chef.
This luxury house is an awesome choice for a family holiday in Ubud. The bedrooms have high-quality linen and mattresses. The wardrobes have hangers. There is a strong Wi-Fi connection throughout the house, so you can stay connected, despite the remote location. All the rooms are air-conditioned. The kitchen has many appliances, pots, pans, cutlery, and wine glasses. There is an in-villa yoga shala and a spa.
Tree Top villa has a central location in Ubud and yet, it is away from the crowds because of the forested landscape around the property. Ubud Center is only 10 minutes away. The famous Goa Gajah Temple is also very close. You will find many restaurants, shops, cafes, and boutiques just a few minutes’ drive away.
8.6/10Villa Tree Top is a beautiful architecturally designed villa, perched above a river. It was quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle. The Villa staff were very helpful, organising drivers and food for us. The breakfast was fantastic but the dinner could be improved. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at Warung Layana, a 20 minute walk from the Villa. Be aware that the alleys to the Villa are very narrow: not all cars can fit. Also, there are 107 steps down to the yoga shala/spa, so a degree of fitness is required.
10/10Words cannot describe how wonderful this place really was. The design, the spaciousness, the amazing team that truly goes above and beyond. Honestly this was a perfect stay in every way. The decor was inspiring. I ordered chefs diner for the first night of arrival as well as breakfast the next morning. Absolutely delicious! They were quick to respond and gave wonderful restaurant recommendations. Truly an oasis.

10/10Our stay at the villa was absolutely amazing, it’s the nicest place any of us have ever stayed in! The location is incredible, you have the view of the jungle from almost every room. It’s remote, and so you do need a car or driver to get around, but it’s located close enough to Ubud to enjoy the restaurants and far enough away to have privacy from all the tourists. And the staff is more than happy to help arrange transport. The staff was amazing, really helpful and friendly. A special thank you to Ayu who was always there and even arranged something special for my birthday :) We will definitely be coming back here, I can highly recommend it to everyone!
10/10We had an amazing stay in Ubud! Beautiful home, very nicely decorated. Everything has been done with taste and thought out for an exceptional stay. The staff is always there for all our requests (scooter rental directly delivered to the villa, yoga classes, chef,etc.). Excellent communication. Cleaning is done daily. Towels are changed daily. The view is breathtaking, guaranteed change of scenery. In short, I would recommend 1000% and will rent this villa again the next time I stay in Ubud town.
10/10I think I just fell in love with the villa. I stayed there with some friends for my birthday, we didn't had a party but I was so glad to stay there for my birthday. It was a beautiful gift to myself. Nothing was wrong, everything was perfect. The furniture was beautiful and they take care of it, the view and acces to the river is amazing. And the most important is the staff, they are so kind and helpful. I felt like I was in paradise. This place will be my home for my next trip in bali!!!
