Villa Jabali is a hidden gem tucked in a quiet lane of central Seminyak. The villa features traditional open-plan pavilions surrounding a blissful garden and it has no less than five bedrooms. It a great holiday retreat for large families or groups of friends who are looking for a peaceful sanctuary in the heart of Bali's most happening tourist town.
All the five rooms are tucked in the main pavilion. Two of them are located on ground level with tropical open-air bathrooms and the other three are found on the first floor reachable by a majestic staircase from the living or a winding staircase from the TV room. Each room features elegant artwork, a uniquely designed relax chair reminding of a Kings seat and a stunning canopied king-size bed of which some are convertible into twins. The rooms also feature modern amenities such as AC and a TV with DVD-player. The spacious wardrobe closets are equipped with a safe and every room has a private en-suite bathroom.

A big wooden gate opens up to the tropical and sunny garden of villa Jabali with bamboo walls, lush green exotic plants and a pond with a waterfall-feature and a giant Buddha sculpture. Stepping stones in the grass lead to the timber sun-tanning deck where you can sunbath on the comfy loungers or chill out on the romantic day-bed draped with white curtains. Next to it lies the beautiful curvy swimming pool. In the middle of the pool there is a little island where a tropical frangipani tree grows, reflecting its shadow beautifully on the sparkling water. On the other side there is a charming alfresco seating area for garden parties with fresh grilled food from the BBQ. For those seeking tranquillity, behind the main pavilion, there is a quiet little back garden with a hammock and a river-rock bathtub nestled in between the greenery.
The breezy open-plan living area is tucked in a round-shaped pavilion covered by a beautiful alang-alang roof. In the centre there is a comfy sofa lounge with colourful pillows and an antique coffee-table and next to it there is a charming floor seating area where you can try out a traditional Gamelan instrument. In the heart of the pavilion, there is a TV room with playstation and a collection of books. There is a separate dining pavilion reachable by a timber bridge over the tranquil fish-pond. The open-plan space has a high wooden Balinese roof with music speakers and spotlights. There is a teak dining table with ten rattan chairs illuminated beautifully in the evening by three lanterns. The kitchen is fully equipped and it has a large bar with windows where you can enjoy drinks together.
The staff of villa Jabali is heartwarming and they will make sure everything is perfectly suited to your wishes. There is personal guest assistance, daily housekeeping and security in the night. The villa is well equipped for families with children with a pool-fence, baby-cot and high-chair.
The location is super central, tucked in a quiet lane that is surrounded by the lively and colourful streets of Seminyak. You are in walking distance of excellent shopping venues, charming café's, spa's and lots of high-end restaurants at the renown 'eat-street'. The beach is also nearby and there are lots of charming beach-bars such as La Plancha and fancy beach-clubs such s Ku De TA or Potato Head to enjoy sunset drinks together.
9.2/10We travelled with our two teenage children, my sister and two friends. Great size Villa allowing everyone to have their own space (and bathroom!) as well as a shared space for enjoying meals, playing cards and swimming. Good location to wander to shops, restaurants and yoga. Far enough back from Main Street that there is not much noise. Service was wonderful by Ayu, Jay and Eka. We look forward to returning sometime soon.
8.8/10We were a group of ten friends coming together (again) in Bali at Villa Jabali, this trip was to celebrate a 50th. Wow! What a week. The location of Jabali is fantastic. We love Seminyak. Our faves - Shelter (Hut) Cafe & The Gourmet Cafe and Catering Company for brunch & cafe food takeaways. The Organic Spa & Chill (ask for Yudi) for great massages. Bintang Supermarket (take the back streets rather than JL Raya Seminyak, MUCH less hassle), sunrise and sunset walks to Seminyak beach and the promenade. Dinner at Barbacoa, La Favala and Moonlight (definitely have to make reservations at these three, and at Moonlight, go at 5:45pm and book a table out on the deck to watch sunset around 6:15pm, its simply stunning). An observation not a gripe… Six of our group have been several times to Bali, and usually choose Villas with the daily breakfast option. We didn't this time because having first-timers with us we knew we would eat out a lot, but what also affected that decision was the fact that the prices of villas have gone up, and it appears you get less typical-Bali bang for your buck. Its a shame really because a big part of why Bali is such a great holiday spot is how cheap / affordable all the fun stuff is - eating, drinking, tours and shopping. I completely get putting prices up post-covid. Bali relies heavily on tourism and they are quite obviously still trying to financially recover, but it was a surprise this time, to see the prices the villa charged for extras, like breakfasts (after the first day complimentary breakfast), drinks (from the villa fridge, soda, beer etc), and that they only offer a complimentary one-way airport transfer in a six-seater vehicle, when we were a party of ten! That said, we still had a fantastic team looking after us daily. Ayu & Eka even arranged a birthday cake as a surprise complete with reigniting candles ? special mention also to Jay. The villa was great, the pool was brilliant and the communal areas worked brilliantly for us all. Ive taken a star off for the bedrooms, services and value for money to reflect the above comments, and our only grizzle about the villa - the upstairs bathrooms didn't have hot water for the first two days then sporadically hot/cold afterwards. The staff got maintenance there quick smart but they didnt actually repair the problem. We’d go back to Villa Jabali, in fact, as a group we started planning our next trip while we were still in Bali, as you do!
9.6/10We love our villa and the team that worked there during our stay. We had ten people stay for nine days over new years and the staff were amazing, they checked on us for drinks all the time, offered great room cleaning and helped us with everything we needed. I can’t stress enough how nice the staff are and how helpful they were during our stay. The villa is great, all the rooms were really nice and clean with a Balinese feel. We loved the pool and yard and used it a lot during our stay. The location was great with a convenience store a 1 min walk away. Bars and restaurants within 5-10 min walk and great spas very close also.
9.8/10The Villa was absolutely stunning. We loved the local feel of the decor and the outdoor entertaining areas. There were many spaces to come together as a family and quiet spaces when you wanted to relax. The location was excellent, so handy to the shops and resturants and only a short walk to the beach. This allowed my children to be able to wander off for a bit and not be far away. We were really happy with the helpful staff, always and the villa was kept immaculate at all times. Highly recommend Villa Jabali.
10/10We had a great time staying at Villa Jabali. The staff was so helpful and polite. They made our experience and holiday so much more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!
10/10Personnel très agréable et très disponible. Plein de petits gestes adorables. Villa magnifique, idéale pour nos vacances familiales. Nous recommandons fortement !!
8.8/10Villa Jabali was a cosy , clean and cheerful villa, perfect for 2 families travelling together. It has an interesting layout and the location is excellent! On a small lane off Jl Seminyak, it is easily walkable to many shops, restaurants and Bintang supermarket. The villa staff were great! Helpful, friendly and well trained It would have been nice to have some reading lamps at night and more choices for the free breakfast.
10/10Loved everything about Villa Jabali. The photos and video were a true representation of what we encountered when we entered. Great local food just across our lane and many great restaurants in the area. It was our quiet oasis where the staff did everything to make us feel pampered and comfortable. Perfect place for our group of ten women celebrating a special birthday.
9.2/10We had a wonderful stay in Villa Jabali August 2018. We were a party of 3 families with children. The villa was even more beautiful than the photos. It was clean, tidy, spacious and utterly beautiful. The staff and butlers were wonderful and always there to lend a hand - whether to make us drinks, help warm babies bottles, help prepare food for the children & toddlers, make a booking at restaurants, organise cars to go on a trip, play and chat to the kids, order us delivered food, arrange massages in the villa, hire the pool fence & provide the best service I have ever had in a villa. The rooms were all a great size and the downstairs rooms are the biggest with outdoor bathrooms which was really lovely. The pool is a wonderful temperature and a decent size and lots of lounge space and relaxing to be had. The small grassed area was great for the kids to kick the ball around and the general lounge area in the living quarters was comfy and lovely to sit at. A great kid-friendly restaurant nearby was called Peppermint which had a lovely outdoor picnic table area and grassed area for toddlers who dont want to sit to run around whilst the parents enjoy a meal. The only two things I would probably say needs to be improved was the shower pressure which was poor and the water was cold. We had a few rain days so a warm, pressured shower would have been lovely whilst standing out in the rain to shower! The other thing was the breakfast menu whilst really delicious could maybe be expanded a little for more variety. But those things are a very small thing and the villa was amazing and we all cannot wait to return! Ekka - our butler - was beautiful and we all wanted to bring her home. The kids just loved her. And Jay the other butler was awesome too!
10/10I stayed in Villa Jabali for 4 nights for my 50th Birthday. We were a group on 9 adults. Once we found it ( driver wasn't sure where it was ) omg we were amazed. The villa was everything we had hoped for. The staff were fantastic, the rooms luxurious and the service was faultless. We will definitely be back. A credit to the owners , who thought of absolutely everything to make our stay fantastic, we were very sad to leave. Regards Mark Wood
8.8/10This is our second time staying in the Juragan Villas. Villa Jabali is the latest Villa in the group and is the largest (5 bedrooms). The location is perfect right in the centre of Seminyak near the Bintang Supermarket and ATM. The decor is beautiful and the setting tranquil. The bedrooms are large and we loved the outside shower in our room. The beds are very comfortable, we slept like babies. The best part of our stay is the staff. Full butler service. The staff are so warm and friendly, have good English and nothing is too much trouble. The Manager Komang and is offsider Wayan are exceptional and so helpful with any query. Great wifi and business friendly. Mary the owner answers email queries straight away and again nothing is too much trouble, which is important when considering where to stay in Bali.
8/10This brand new Villa is just beautiful! Spacious & tranquil living areas, lovely Balinese styled rooms & furniture, luxurious pool and the staff were so so helpful and friendly. Great location too - close to shops, restaurants, supermarket and the beach. What a fabulous holiday! We will definitely be returning! Thanks so much Mary, Komang, Rainie, Tini, Rai, Welan, Wayan and Ketut!
