Thank you for your interest in our villas. We look forward to speaking with you!
Located in Ungasan on the southern Bukit Peninsula, Villa Uma Priyayi is a traditional, 5 bedroom villa evoking the authentic architecture from the Indonesian island of Java. Constructed entirely out of reclaimed Joglo houses and iron wood flooring, this home is antique in style but modern in amenities and services. The luxurious 10 meter infinity swimming pool is the perfect place to watch the sun drop over the horizon, where you will catch glimpses of the sea from the villa’s hilltop location. With the option of renting Villa Uma Priyayi as either a 2 or 5 bedroom villa, party sizes can range from 4-10 people (extra beds are available on request and at extra cost).
The master bedroom suite directly faces the pool and boasts a king bed elevated on a low-lying wooden stage, encompassed by 4 pillars with ivory drapes tied to them. On one side of the room is a day couch where you can curl up with a good book, and on the other is an outdoor balcony with seating chairs. Attached to the room is an indoor/outdoor bathroom with a sunken stone tub surrounded by a wall of twisting tree vines.
The second and the third bedroom also opens up onto the pool deck, this one featuring a 4-poster queen bed wrapped in mosquito netting and bordered by 2 bedside tables and reading lamps. Ethnic tapestries hang above and on the bed, while the walls are built completely from wood panels. This room’s en-suite bathroom offers you a free standing bathtub in an open-air environment, fringed with tropical trees and a coral stone wall.
The fourth bedrooms reside on the upper floor of a quaint separate joglo from the main house and overlooks the pool below. This bedroom has a queen sized bed under a traditional slanted wooden roof, with Balinese tapestry to adorn the cozy room. The last bedroom has an outside bathroom.
Making use of natural resources on hand, Villa Uma Priyayi boasts Sumba stones at the front of the pool, with megalith stone pillars placed in the garden. A giant slab of teak wood serves as the villa’s grand dining table, seating up to 8 people at one time. No need to worry about where to shop for food when in Bali; a menu of meal options is available for you during your stay here, with complimentary daily breakfast being prepared every morning.
The daybed under the covered poolside gazebo is the ultimate place to lay back and enjoy the panoramic vistas of peninsular Bali.
The pictures don't do it justice! A real gem and designer villa fit for a King! Is highly spoken about around Bali!
