This charming villa strikes the perfect balance between traditional Balinese joglo and luxury villa experience. Tucked away in a quiet drive way, you have the best of Canggu at your fingertips, with Berawa beach at walking distance and Seminyak nearby. This beautiful two bedroom is stylish and comfortable, ideal for couples or small families. It doesn't get much better than lounging in an open-air living and dining area, overlooking the stunning pool and lush garden while being looked after by an incredibly friendly team of Balinese staff. Little ones have a shallow pool area to splash in, and home-cooked meals, BBQs and massages are arranged on request. Travelling with a bigger group? The villa connects to Villa Desa Roro (5 bedrooms) next door. You can plan to leave your modern day stresses behind.
The two delightful air-conditioned bedrooms are furnished with king-sized beds cocooned by billowing mosquito nets, crisp white linens and a unique decor blending contemporary design and tropical chic. The spacious ensuite bathrooms are fitted with single or twin washbasins and walk-in rain showers. One room enjoys a private shaded terrace with rattan armchairs looking over the sparkling pool and a traditional Balinese Bale. The other bedroom has a Smart TV for a relaxed evening in, and a baby cot can be set up on request.

Greet the rise of the sun with a smile and start the day on an energizing note by swimming in this villa's 12-metre long pool. Perfect for swimming laps, it is connected to a shallow area that keeps little swimmers happy and safe. Rest on one of the deck lounges under the shade of gently swaying palm trees. Tucked among the palms, a private BBQ terrace has its own outdoor dining table.
The common area of the villa is open concept, boasting high ceilings, and a perfect mix of Balinese architecture and modern decorations. From one of its comfortable sofas or armchairs, you can enjoy views of the tropical garden and swimming pool. Tucked in one corner is the dining table, with seating for six, perfect for a relaxing dinner. There is also a fully equipped modern kitchen, which guests are welcome to use, where a wooden table for four is a nice area to enjoy your morning coffee. Games are close at hand, with a poker set, Scrabble, Monopoly, Jenga and plenty more to choose from. A private, large work desk with a view over the pool is there for anyone who needs to log on.

Villa Desa Roro Dua displays classic Balinese hospitality, right from the moment you step foot into the villa till the moment it's time to sadly say goodbye, right down to the little details. Canggu has fast become a hip place to hang out, with cafés, shopping and nightlife! Mata Berawa, on the villa's own street, serves honest Indonesian dishes, and Milk & Madu Berawa is a family favourite with a kids' playground and a children's menu. Berawa Beach is a short walk away, and Finn's Beach Club is the place for sunset drinks. Several well-regarded yoga studios are just a short ride away. Should you wish to seek more "action", a 10-minute drive (depending on traffic) will take you to the most fashionable shops, bars, restaurants and nightlife of Seminyak.
As the villa is located along the main street of Canggu, traffic noise can sometimes be heard from inside the villa.
9.2/10When we arrived we were absolutely wowed by this beautiful villa!!the onsite staff were so sweet and kind and helpful , including the booking staff Rakha and the team. Nothing was too much and all the details were communicated quickly and clearly. The location was very handy to be able to walk to shops and restaurants the only slight downside was the noise of the traffic in the evenings but we got used to that after 2 nights
10/10The villa itself is absolutely stunning, and an extremely tranquil and calm oasis. The pools are an absolute asset, and most days we had no reason to leave as everything can be arranged. Komang and her team at the villa go out of their way to support and make sure you have everything you need, and Viesztra’s support and facilitation prior to arrival assured that we were fully taken care and enjoy our stay!

10/10We booked Villa Desa Roro Dua for a very special trip with friends and their kids. To quote one of our friends, it felt like we’d rented our own Balinese village. The accommodation and grounds were stunning, and the staff were exceptional. We particularly enjoyed having the two pools — one of which we declared a child-free zone of tranquility. There was also a large space for dining that easily accommodated meals for over 20 people, as friends staying in the area joined us for a couple of dinners that the staff beautifully catered. We would most certainly return to this villa and use Villa Finder again. The quality of their properties and service was top-class. Thank you to the entire staff team for making our special trip even more memorable.

10/10Komang's staff were the highlight of our trip. Ayu was absolutely fabulous – helping us every day. The space is so beautiful and very cozy. We felt right at home with everything we needed. The quality of furniture + appliances was exceptional. All the food Komang made us was delicious. The Concierge Service was extremely organized, very quick and easy to use.

We had a meal cooked for us at the villa which was very enjoyable . There are Resturants and food stores within walking distance I would highly recommend this villa

10/10Having a wonderful stay. The villa is beautiful, the pool and garden are gorgeous and well maintained. The staff are polite friendly, helpful and serve us beautiful breakfasts especially the pancakes and fried rice. Plus Annie went allover Bali searching for cardamom pods for me. Nothing is too much trouble . Sofi at the concierge service is lovely and is always available to help with any questions and concerns. Especially when family members are travelling from different countries ! We highly recommend staying here.
10/10It was a beautiful stay at the two bedroom villa. The rooms are very large, and well appointed. The Boho Bali style is very relaxing. Large windows offer a view of the pool which also has a shallow area for small kids. The staff are friendly and attentive. The gardens are incredible. There is a bit of street traffic noise so if you sleep lightly maybe bring Ear plugs. But it's not too bad during the week.

8/10Breakfast are always the best moment : in front of the beautiful garden with very good pancake and fruits (… or anything you want!). Komand’s team is perfect and always kindly ! We love the atmosphere of the villa (glass and Wood) . It’s not our first time in Desa Roro Dua Villa and I hope it’s not the last ! You have a good mexican restaurant « Maize » in front of the supermarket « Popular » , close to the Villa .
8/10We had an exceptional stay. The villa is just beautiful and a perfect base to explore Canggu. There are some nice restaurants in walking distance which was convenient getting over jet lag. Other than that you‘ll need scooters or taxi. With little kids the beach is not in walking distance. Staff is lovely and made our stay very special.
10/10Exceptional! We didn’t want to leave. The staff are divine and the pool was perfect. We travelled with two young kids so having the extra space for them to play was ideal. Pool even has a kids section. The staff were amazing playing with them and looking after us. Easy walk to great cafes and short drive on bike to beach. We will be back!
10/10Our experience at Villa Desa Rora Dua was amazing ! Will 100% be returning when we can! The service was fantastic and the staff were so kind and accomodating and were always available. It was bigger than the photos and felt so homely. The morning breakfast was so nice. It was close to shops and restaurants and transport was never an issue! Thank you so much for an amazing trip.
8.8/10Very well located between Canggu and Seminyak. Beautiful villa built and decorated with quality materials and taste, which enjoys a superb view of a lush garden & a large pool. Home Massage Order possible in less than 30 minutes. Staff present but discreet, caring, very effective. Daisy and Amir absolutely adorable! Nearby places we loved: Restaurant "My Warung" less than 100m at the end of the street (take away possible), beauty institute "Esthetic" (behind Savage kitchen), bakery at the entrance of the Parachute restaurant.
