Ubud villas for wedding and events

Ubud’s emerald rice fields and lush greenery offers the perfect landscape for couples seeking a tropical wedding destination. The town’s tranquil vibes offers a peaceful ambience you’d be hard-pressed to find elsewhere, and a wide-ranging variety of activities - from crafts workshops to museum visits and nature treks - offers something for every traveller.

Choose from an array of wedding villas in enviable settings; some are nestled high up in the hills, with jaw-dropping views over the dense forests, while others are located by the riverbank, where the sounds of nature and flowing river permeate into the home.

We’ll pick out properties that best meet your needs - whether you’re seeking villas with exquisite dining pavilions, or require a large outdoor seating and standing capacity. We’re also happy to recommend wedding planners, event coordinators, caterers or any other services you may need.

From your villa, you’re about 15 to 30 minutes’ drive to the town centre, where you’ll find myriad cafes and eateries. Ubud is known for its vegetarian and vegan dining scene, with venues like KAFE Ubud, Sayuri Healing Food Cafe, WAMM, Alchemy and Sage being a hit with vacationers.

To celebrate your wedding, we’d recommend restaurants that check off all the right boxes for decor, ambience, food and service, such as Hujan Locale, The Sayan House and CasCades Restaurant. Or enjoy an in-villa dining experience at your property, where a private chef whips up delicacies based on a customised menu. Your villa manager will assist with the arrangements.

There are plenty of activities and attractions in town. Newlyweds will enjoy the couple spa treatments at high-end venues like Como Shambala Estate or Maya Ubud, catching acoustic acts or traditional performances at Petani Restaurant or attending a crafts workshop at WS Art Studio.

There’s plenty of shopping to be done at the Ubud Art Market if you’re seeking handicrafts and souvenirs. Otherwise, take a stroll along the streets weaving into and out from Jalan Raya Ubud, the main road in town to explore a variety of homeware, fashion and accessories boutiques.

Ubud’s well-curated museums are a great place to discover Bali’s contemporary and traditional arts scene. The collection at ARMA Museum are spread out across three spacious galleries, and Neka Art Museum features a wide selection of works that showcase different styles of Balinese paintings. The hilltop Blanco Renaissance Museum, once home to the flamboyant Spanish-American painter Antonio Blanco has an adjoining studio with an interesting display of family portraits.
