The island is magic and Slow Villas gives you the comfort you need to relax. Great people working always ready to help and share experiences with you. The beach is 5 minutes walking, offering with some very good restaurants and the perfect sunset.

Slow is simply the BEST place to stay in Gili Air. Effortlessly chic it is a paradise to go back to at the end of your dives or beach activity. Julie knows absolutely everything there is to know about The Gilis and is there to help. The villas have their own private plunge pools, garden, kitchenette and a great bed: the perfect recipe for success. The spa is amazing. A bit of heaven on earth.

We stayed in Slow Villas last week of July 2016. Tucked away in a more remote part of Gili Air, Slow was the perfect place that combines desert-island and experience with locals and the highest quality of comfort, local antique furnishing and charm. We felt Slow was right at the other end of the spectrum of an impersonal resort, where everything is designed to work with the local community, local taste and eco-friendliness. The hard-working expat' Julie running the place has a strong enough personality to transmit her energy and passion for her desert-island project / concept into her guests ; while making sure that everything is run to the highest standards to keep everyone happy.
