I stayed in Villa Lagu back in December with my family. Everything exceeded our expectations. Location is right in front of the beach (black sand, not an issue for us). The place is really calm, waking up to the sound of the sea is a great way of starting your day. Staff comes in the morning so when you wake up your breakfast is ready on the table. They take very good care of the property and make sure there are fresh flowers everywhere. You can then choose if you want your lunch/dinner cooked and your favourite meal, and just pay for the ingredients which is a very good deal at market price. The staff are very nice and were like part of our family for the week we spent there. Roy the manager did his best to accommodate all our requests - nothing was too much for him. I wanted to celebrate a special 50th wedding anniversary for my grandparents and Roy and the staff prepared a beautiful setting for a balinese blessing ceremony in the garden. What a beautiful day to remember! We felt so comfortable and at home, that we didn't even do any day trips. Just enjoyed our days and relaxed by the pool. But if you have little time and want to know the real Bali, they can organize great excursions for you - the area is beautiful and there are plenty of things to do and see. Overall a great stay at a great rate!

Stayed at this house for almost a week with 6 adults and 2 small children. It was really better than we could have imagined. Roy the manager of the villa is amazing and the 3 girls that maintain the villa and prepare your meals are extraordinary! I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for peace and relaxation!
