A UNESCO World heritage site, the Goa Gajah, also known as the elephant cave, is an ancient cave believed to be built way back in the 11th century. The entrance of the cave is decorated with intricate carvings of menacing and mysterious creatures. An extensive site, there is also some historical bathing pools, and much other cultural artefacts to see.
