However, it’s sacred and no swimming is allowed there. The one where you can swim and do cliff jumping is called Kroya Waterfall, which is a short hike away.

There are 3 levels of cliff jumping: 5m, 10m and 15m, all within the same trek. The hike is quite challenging, so I’d suggest taking your time there (usually, people spend about 3 hours at the waterfall). Bring along some lunch and snack for a nice picnic by the fall. After you have made your way through hundreds of steps to get back, go for a massage to release the tension and enjoy an afternoon coffee.

Itinerary 2: Git Git Waterfall – Sekumpul Waterfall

Git Git’s glamour dims when compared to Sekumpul. For waterfalls with moderate to difficult trails, having proper footwear makes such a big difference. There are some waterfalls where you have to trek through water, so make sure you are wearing something that’s ok to be wet.

Some essential items: sunblock, insect repellent, water, snacks

If you are bringing your camera, bring along a waterproof cover and lens wipes to keep it from getting wet.
