Jaya House es un edificio de dos plantas situado junto a la entrada de Villa Bodhi. La planta baja ofrece una amplia zona de estar con un televisor, cómodos sofás y sillas y un sofá cama que puede convertirse en una gran cama individual si se solicita. También cuenta con un baño de invitados con una hermosa bañera de mármol y un lavabo de piedra natural. El dormitorio principal de la planta superior cuenta con una cama King tallada con dosel, un escritorio y un cuarto de baño con bañera de piedra y ducha de pie. Desde el balcón se obtienen preciosas vistas de los jardines y la selva.
La Casa Sri tiene el estilo de una casa tradicional indonesia de gladek y es accesible en silla de ruedas. La habitación cuenta con dos camas dobles con dosel y ropa de cama fina, un vestidor y un cuarto de baño semiexterior con un pequeño jardín y una generosa ducha de lluvia.
La Casa Menala es una adorable cabaña de teca del siglo XIX, que ha sido totalmente restaurada. Se encuentra en el límite de la propiedad, con su propio estanque y un porche cubierto con vistas a la selva. El dormitorio tiene dos camas individuales que pueden convertirse en una cama doble. El cuarto de baño con jardín privado tiene una bañera de piedra y una ducha.
La Casa Laba está justo al lado de la piscina, y tiene una gran terraza de madera con espectaculares vistas de la selva circundante. El dormitorio tiene una cama de matrimonio con dosel y el cuarto de baño cuenta con una bañera de piedra independiente situada bajo una claraboya abierta que está parcialmente cubierta por las ramas de los árboles.

Báñese en la piscina infinita de agua salada de 10 metros con vistas a la selva y al valle y relájese en una de las tumbonas de la terraza de la piscina. Serenos estanques de loto, vibrantes flores tropicales y cuidados céspedes rodean la piscina y el pabellón de estar y los caminos de piedra se abren paso a través de extensiones de hierba que conducen a cada una de las cuatro cabañas.
En el corazón de Villa Bodhi hay un enorme joglo de madera abierto que sirve de espacio de estar y comedor. La decoración es una mezcla impecable de hermosas mesas y sillas de madera antiguas, sofás con lujosos cojines multicolores para relajarse y admirar las vistas de los jardines y la selva. Un puente de madera cubierto conduce del pabellón de estar al pabellón de comedor, amueblado con una mesa de teca con capacidad para diez personas. A través de unas decorativas puertas correderas, la sencilla cocina está totalmente equipada para cocinar, con una cocina de gas de cinco fuegos, un horno y un gran frigorífico.
El amable personal le dará la bienvenida con auténticas sonrisas balinesas y estará siempre a su disposición para asegurarse de que tiene todo lo que necesita para disfrutar de su estancia.
Villa Bodhi is nestled in the quiet village of Bukian, in Payangan, just 7 kilometers from Ubud with its well-known cultural performances, shops and restaurants. The Elephant Safari Park is just 2 kilometres away from the villa and the excellent Bali Bird Park is a 30 minutes drive. Or if you're after something more adventurous, white water rafting on the Ayung River is available just 10 minutes from the villa.
9.8/10Villa Bodhi was everything we had hoped for. Located away from the hustle of downtown Ubud, we had the peaceful jungle as our vista. The sounds of roosters, village kids playing football and the temple were just icing on the cake. Made, the manager, did everything to make our stay fantastic. Brilliant meals (loved the morning mixed juice) and an experience we won't soon forget.

Had an amazing stay with my family anf friends, lots of space in the villa, beautiful decor, so much art and history. The view is breathtaking and the sounds of the jungle you are surrunded by takes you on a journey. 9.6/10Villa Bodhi is a compound of villas set in peaceful countryside a short distance above Ubud. Before arriving I was a bit apprehensive that we would be isolated away from Ubud, but the tranquility of Villa Bodhi was a welcome relief from the bustle of the town. The garden is sublime ( a much overused word in reviews but in this case justified!) Every view is just perfect, every angle carefully curated and meticulously maintained. Our manager Made Sukadana made the holiday completely - friendly, calm& unflustered, anticipating every need. If you are lucky enough to stay there, have a chat with Made about what activities you are hoping to fit in & he will organise it all. In terms of service, the place is faultless: Gusti the chef cheerfully catered on demand for our crowd of 7 adults, including 1vegetarian & 1 vegan. The other staff organised laundry & housekeeping with a minimum of fuss. An added bonus were the thriving water gardens which hosted a fascinating community of frogs, fish and lizards. We hope to return to Villa Bodhi again and recommend it without qualifications!

9.6/10Excellent location in the hills. Very welcoming staff, you can ask Made (the current manager) for a short history on hindu culture, he will be more then happy to translate it into english for you. The mansion itself is a beautiful mostly single storey house. The place is huge. You could build a volleyball court and still have space to plan a basketball game(slight exaggeration). The roof is imported from Java(100 year old antiquated teak) The owner(Hawaiian Japanese)is a fashion designer and his taste in aesthetics is beautiful. In every corner of the home there are plenty of unique objects. The singular complaint I have is, its cloudy, but being in the hills apparently it has more cloud cover then the normal base ground level villas. Love this place...

10/10Villa Bodhi is a peaceful retreat in Bali, with a very dedicated staff who allows you to organise absolutely everything! As a big family (8 adults and 4 children), we particularly appreciated to have our own privacy thanks to 4 separate small villas within the big one. The view from the swimming pool is gorgeous! I recommend the villa Bodhi for a relaxing holiday in Bali
