Sanur is a convenient base for day trips and offshore excursions. Ubud, known for its thriving arts and culture scene, lush greenery and well-curated museums is an hour's drive away. Seminyak, about 50 minutes' drive from Sanur offers a different experience altogether - this trendy town is a tourist hotspot, thanks to its vibrant and varied dining, shopping and nightlife scene.
