10/10Everything was perfect! Starting with the location, where we felt like we are the only people staying in that part of Ubud, with views of the jungle, rice fields and our infinity pool. Its 10min drive to central Ubud and a short drive to Tegalalang Rice terraces. Our villa was enormous, it felt like an old Dutch colonial mansion, rooms were beautiful and spacious, bathrooms with outdoor (and indoor) showers were absolutely amazing! Staff couldn’t be more friendly. Food can be ordered to your villa, which is very convenient and it was delicious. You can order massage and have it done in your villa, listening to sounds of the jungle, we did and we felt we were in heaven. We stayed for 2nights as a group of 6 girls, and we didn't want to leave!
10/10I can;t recommend Villa Awang Awang highly enough. This place oozes charms everywhere you look! I stayed in the 5 Bedroom Villa which is beautifully tucked away on a hill overlooking the valley. The villa is split into 3 levels and has its own pool at the lowest level (size is good). You could hear the flows of the river from the bottom of the valley and this place is so tranquil. The sound of nature was everywhere. The room I stayed in was really nice and the view from the room was also breathtaking. Breakfast was excellent and served at the convenience of your villa. All you have to do is to fill out a form the night before and indicate what you would like to have for your breakfast. If you decide to take a stroll around the property, as you walk around, you might see macaques monkey swinging among the the lush surroundings as you walk down to the lower part of the property. I really like the fact that the villa is a little bit outside of Ubud, away from the hustle and bustle. I would highly recommend Villa Awang Awang for your stay in Ubud.
10/10What an experience!! Staying here was quite simply one of the most amazing and wonderful experiences of my life. Bali is such a beautiful place to have the opportunity to visit. I visited with my daughter and son-in-law and their three young daughters for the first fortnight in April and it truly was the ‘holiday of a lifetime’. And the whole experience was as good as it was because of the Villa Awang Awang staff. I can’t imagine staying anywhere better in Bali than villa Awang Awang. It had everything: everything we needed in terms of comfortable and very individual accommodation; good food - prepared as we wanted and when we wanted; cleanliness; peace: space; beautiful swimming pools; and outstanding as all of that was, the remarkable, friendly, caring, accommodating, hospitable staff, each and every one of them, who made us feel like family, or like old friends. Not only that but they took us to places we could not have known about otherwise and included us in their own lives, far beyond the ‘call of duty’. Thank you so much, all of you. Thank you too, for living out your beautiful and heart- warming and loving living faith and life and values; what an inspiration and encouragement. God bless you all. Whenever I’m fortunate enough to visit in future, I cannot think of any way in which I could have a better experience than here. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
