An eco-friendly oasis hidden in the lush jungles of Tabanan, Mantra Nature Retreat promises to be an escape into the wilderness of Bali. This 5 bedroom, 3 pool villa is set on the riverbanks of the Ye-Ho River on over 4000 square meters of land. Run by a family-friendly business with a focus on the local people and environment, Mantra Nature Retreat aims to lessen their eco-footprint by harvesting rainwater, using a closed-circuit water management system and employing solar water heaters.

This state of the art resort houses 5 bedrooms in total and can sleep up to 10 people comfortably, with 2 extra beds available at an additional cost if needed. Each room features a king-size canopy bed, dressing room and an en-suite bathroom. The 3 pools are situated amongst these various sleeping pavilions for private dips just outside your bedroom suite.

To find the most magical area of this villa, head to the rooftop. Here lies an open-air yoga studio overlooking the treetops and river below, truly a spectacular spot to clear the mind and renew the senses. Besides lounging around in the villa's many hangout areas, guests can easily partake in nature walks and treks, mountain biking, yoga courses and traditional therapeutic treatments while staying here.

This place is a paradise for nature lovers and those who wish to experience the real Bali. Located in a quiet and lovely village, near the ocean and a good 90 minutes drive from the airport. Property surrounded by jungle, lots of frogs and lezards around (April). Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Really beautiful and tranquil setting with many pools (well maintained). Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was made to order, fresh and delightful. Definitely a great choice for families who prefer to be away from the bussle and buzz. We will recommend this place to our friends and hopefully we will be back ourselves one day.
