Located in Canggu, Chalina Estate captures the true spirit of the island of Gods with its magnificent architecture. This stunning eight bedroom villa is situated a few minutes away from the sand of Pererenan and Echo beach. With its classic Balinese architecture and lush gardens, guests can sit back and experience the laidback tropical lifestyle for which Bali has become so famous. This is also an amazing venue to host an intimate and memorable event. The atmosphere must be felt to be described, truly magical.

Each of Chalina Estate’s ensuite bedroom is air-conditioned and features black-out curtains, a flat-screen TV and DVD player and a small fridge.
The two-storey main pavilion houses four bedrooms. On the upper floor, a huge master suite boasts a king-size four-poster bed and a large balcony furnished with a sofa for relishing the awesome vista, especially at sunset. The ensuite bathroom offers a large stainless steel bath, wooden vanity with twin basins and a walk-in terrazzo rain shower. Opposite the first floor landing, the second master suite comes with a netted king bed and a mezzanine floor furnished with a queen-size daybed (which can be used as an extra bed). A walk-in dressing room and ensuite bathroom with Palimanan stone floor, rain shower, stainless steel bathtub, and twin basins complete this suite.
Downstairs are a king-bedded room, plus a study that can be converted into a twin bedroom, both with ensuites fitted with bathtubs and showers. Both rooms open out onto a large stone patio area overlooking the swimming pool.
Three more guest rooms are housed in stand-alone garden pavilions, furnished with king-size four-poster bed. Ensuite bathrooms feature cobbled stone floors, black marble twin wash basins and rain showers. Sliding glass doors open to stone terraces with access to the swimming pool.
A bunk room, with room for 10 extra guests is also available for large groups or those holding special events at the villa. The bunk room has a toilet and 3 showers.
Poolside Dining

Overlooking the sloping garden, the dazzling 35 meter swimming pool is the centrepiece of the estate. Spend a day lounging poolside on one of the single or doubled loungers shaded by umbrellas or enjoy a massage in the pool’s floating gazebo. Surrounded by towering coconut trees and dotted with fragrant frangipanis, the impeccably manicured lawns provide a wonderful setting for yoga and meditation as well as weddings and other special events.
The highlight of the estate is most definitely the open-sided living and dining pavilion with its soaring thatched roof. Guests can relax on the comfortable L-shaped sofas and ottomans set around a coffee table. Four steps lead up to the dining area with a wooden table and funky purple rattan chairs where up to 14 guests can enjoy a delicious meal together. Next to the dining pavilion are ponds filled with water lilies, a cascading waterfall and tall vase fountains which flow gently in the background. To the rear of the dining area is a fully equipped stainless steel kitchen complete with two ovens and gas burners, microwave, double-door fridge, freezer and coffee machine.
Alongside the river, just in front of the living and dining area, is an air-conditioned lounge bar and is furnished with two daybeds and a coffee table. A projector screen with surround-sound offers a cinema-like experience. All you need now is to order some pop-corn!
Chalina Estate comes with a friendly and professional staff including personal butlers. The villa manager and chef will be only too happy to discuss any specific requirements to ensure guests have a relaxed and enjoyable stay.
Despite the strong temptation to stay put, those exploring beyond this heavenly retreat will soon discover themselves to be at walking distance from an exciting collection of cool shops and funky cafes to explore in Pererenan. Other areas such as Seseh, Batubolong and Berawa are only a short drive away. The beaches in this area have dark grey or black sand and while being good for swimming, they also offer some renowned and challenging surfing spots. Seminyak with its wide choice of chic cocktail bars, exciting nightclubs, lavish spas and elegant boutiques are a further 20 minute drive away.

10/10The villa is simply perfect for a group of families with kids. The bunk room is amazing. The kids loved it and we always knew that they were safe and sound within the villa. The staff kept an extra eye on them and really cared that everyone was taken care of. Such lovely Balinese hospitality.
10/10Never wanted to leave the beautiful gardens and pool lounges. I could stay here forever. Just keep bringing me more of the delicious food cooked by chef and keep topping up my drink. I think the staff understood how much we enjoyed just being here, and they made every moment one that we would remember with their smiles and service.
10/10The villa is beautiful and is set out on a sprawling estate with gorgeous manicured tropical gardens and the most inviting swimming pool. Once here, there is no need to go anywhere, it is your own tropical paradise. We were with a close group of friends and it was our first vacation together in a long time. Everything was perfect and we are already planning our return trip. Look out Chalina! We’re coming back!
