Enter through the antique Javanese entrance gate, walk through the sprawling garden and face the stunning infinity swimming pool that blends in with the view of the ocean and the sky seamlessly. An amazing holiday home indeed, sitting on the edge of a low cliff in Bali's Nusa Lembongan. The inviting swimming pool is bordered by the ocean on one side and by a timber sun-tanning deck on the other. On the pool deck, guests can sunbathe on the deluxe double sun-loungers, enjoy a meal alfresco style beneath the stars or curl up with something to read in the hanging chair. In the afternoon, a BBQ garden feast is easily organized.
The living room is tucked in a gorgeous Javanese Joglo-inspired pavilion, painted in white to add a modern touch to this traditional house. The Joglo has a high-soaring rooftop (a signature feature of a Joglo house) and a wonderful open-concept design, embracing the tropical lifestyle and maximizing the panoramic ocean views. The interior design is natural, ruled by teak wood, rattan and bamboo. There is a handsome timber dining table, there is a rattan sofa lounge and a well-equipped kitchen with a bar and stools, illuminated by three rattan lamps. Villa Tranquilla also features an air-conditioned media room. So grab your popcorn and drinks and snuggle up together to watch a movie or two in the evening or on a sunny day when the heat just get too much to handle.

Located on Nusa Lembongan, just a 30-minute boat ride from Sanur in south Bali, the environment is rural, unspoiled and simply beautiful. Lembongan island is good for walking tours, snorkeling and swimming. It is also a lot of fun to rent a scooter to cruise around the island, meeting the locals and enjoying a delicious nasi goreng at one of the street stalls. Go on a mangrove boat tour, and book a snorkeling trip to see the magical manta rays. You will be amazed for sure!
10/10My friends and I were blown away as soon as we walked into this amazing villa! Not often you find a place that is better than the pictures - well Villa Tranquilla is definately that! Everything is first class, there is nothing we can fault about the villa. (Hence the 5 stars for each). We had dinner prepared by the staff on the first night, it was absolutely delicious and we had more than enough. The daily breakfast was great also. The staff and manager, Ketchup, were amazing and always willing to help and offer assistance when needed. I found the whole booking process and communication smooth with Villa Finder. Yunia was wonderful - so helpful and prompt with her reply. Such a special and memorable experience at Villa Tranquilla - we hope to be back one day!
10/10From the moment we walked through the entrance we were blown away by Villa Tranquilla. Everything about this place is amazing. We all loved lazing by the infinity pool, gazing out to sea, watching the waves crashing over the cliffs. Putu and the staff saw to our every need without being at all intrusive. The place was kept spotlessly clean and the beds were made impeccably every day. Putu made us the most delicious meal, which we all agreed was our No 1 meal of the holiday. We ate at Sandy Bay restaurant on 2 occasions, the food was beautifully presented and good value. We hired mopeds and enjoyed exploring the island. Snorkelling was great fun and the surfing was amazing. We would highly recommend Villa Tranquilla, it is complete perfection. Booking was easy through Villa Bali.com although I would suggest UK visitors pay in GBP to avoid bank charges.
