There are 4 well-appointed bedroom suites in Villa Cattaleya, each with a walk in closet, and large bathroom. Each of the bedrooms also extends to a spacious veranda and enjoys the panoramic view of the magnificent ocean.
The living spaces of Villa Cattaleya are designed in an open plan concept to fully embrace tropical living. It also makes use of natural building materials such as high quality recycled wood, river stones and marble. The villa interior makes use of red brick stone, which exudes a warm, rustic vibe reminiscent of the countryside.
The 17 meter swimming pool is split into two different sections, a 30 cm deep soaking pool suitable for children, and a deeper lap pool. Children can also play on the green lawns of the gardens, or have a picnic! Of course, when in Jimbaran, guests definitely should have fresh seafood BBQ. Staff can procure the seafood from Jimbaran fish market just 10 minutes away and prepare it for you in an absolutely mouth-watering manner.

9.2/10We are a group of ten (five adults with five small kids reunioning after not seeing each other for the whole year). After staying 23-days in Villa Cattaleya, we regret we couldn’t make it even longer. We had an ambitious plan to start taking tours around Bali from the first day of our holiday, however for the first couple of days we find it relaxing just to enjoy doing nothing from sunset till sunrise in the villa. Villa is really beautifully situated (to get here it’s not easy, however it’s worth the effort). Even though we were in the villa during a hot dry season, thanks to the breeze from the ocean we never felt painfully hot. There are also four fans in the open living room. In the bedrooms there are both fans and AC, so you can choose what is better for you (some of us used only fans). The stunning huge sofa and three materials slings in the living room are the best spot to watch the panoramic view of the swimming pool, the garden and the ocean. Our kids enjoyed the pool very much – half of the pool is quite shallow, around 50 cm, perfect even for the smallest kid (1,5 y.o.) to walk around, another half of the pool is 1,5 m deep, which is enough to enjoy swimming. It was nice to have our bedsheets changed so often - around once or twice a week. It was great to take a bath in all four bathrooms, as you can open huge folding windows and feel like taking a bath outside. The owner of the villa whose name is Svet is a charming, easy-going girl leaving next door. She leaves in Bali already for 8 years and is helpful in advising about shopping and organising such things as transportation, rental of a motorbike, yoga classes and many more. Svet is also a talented cook and we were lucky to enjoy some meals prepared by her (she also run a restaurant). In the villa you can order both Indonesian and European cuisine.
8.8/10The outdoor living room and terras are fantastic, with splendid views over the ocean. Although the beach is not close to the villa, we found a very nice spot in Jimbaran Beach where we had much fun. As Svet is a great cook, we enjoyed dinner in the villa every evening. It was hard to choose the menu, as everything was delicious! Also the kids loved all the food she served!
