Thank you for your interest in our villas. We look forward to speaking with you!
Villa Omkar, in architecture and design, may be loosely considered as Neo-classical Balinese. A quick survey of the buildings will show that the villa is inspired by and reminiscent of traditional structures and forms. Yet the finishing as well as styling is unmistakably contemporary. Truly, Villa Omkar may represent an emerging, new and even progressive genre or trend in countryside living.
The villa’s four (4) Bedrooms are housed on a separate two-storey building. Two of these bedrooms are on the ground floor and have direct access to the pool area. The other two occupy the upper floor and both open to a shared veranda that looks out to the pool area and to the nearby as well as distant environs. All bedrooms are luxuriously and stylishly appointed although only three of these have the traditional canopied bed. These three bedrooms each have an exclusive bathroom that comes with a shower. One other bedroom, though, is furnished with Twin Beds. And its exclusive bathroom comes with a bathtub.
Much of the garden area was devoted to the Swimming Pool with traditional figures installed on one end. The rectangular shape makes it ideal for brisk laps but this shouldn’t stop you from getting in just for a relaxing dip. From the water, you have a choice as to where you can comfortably settle or simply crash – at the Pool Beds under direct sunlight, at those under a traditional parasol or at the lounge chairs under the covered Deck.
The very spacious, high-ceilinged and breezy areas where you can all converge and get together are housed in what appears like the traditional Bale. Here, the Living Area is fully furnished with a Couch, a cushioned Bench and a couple of cushioned Chairs fronting a wide, flat-screen Satellite TV. Much of the furnishings are made of heavy wood which is characteristically Balinese. Yet, the functional accents lend a touch of modernity to these pieces. Again, this is quite evident in the Dining Area that can comfortably accommodate a set up for eight (8). And most especially in the Kitchen with its cutting-edge Appliances that organically blend into the heavy wooden cabinets and cupboards.
A villa supervisor and a villa attendant are on hand to fulfill your every need. Security is also provided starting from the evening to the following morning.
It’s highly recommended that during your stay, you simply must explore Canggu – the village where Villa Omkar is located. The best way to start is to get on horseback at the Bali Equestrian Center and go on a tour of Berawa Beach – one of the more popular surfing destinations in Bali. Another tour on horseback will take you to the village interior. Here, you can stop by the Nirwana Golf Course where a game of 18 holes winds through rice terraces as well as leads to cliffs with breathtaking ocean views and to Bali’s most famous temple – Tanah Lot. If you can, time your arrival at sundown to catch that awesome sight of the temple with the setting sun in the background. If surfing isn’t your thing, you can still enjoy water fun at the Splash Water Park within Canggu Club. Also make sure that you’ll get to Echo Beach at dusk for that matching sunset cocktail. Then sample the many offerings of Canggu’s restaurant strip. You shouldn’t also miss the Samadi Bali Market every Sunday and marvel at the wide variety of organic fruits and vegetables, fresh seafood, homemade products and artisan crafts. You also must squeeze in a traditional Balinese massage or a more exotic coffee and mint treatment at one of the village spas
