Villa Melissa is a magnificent beachfront holiday retreat designed elegantly with natural materials, showing it's love for Bali. This 5 bedroom luxury villa has a beautiful fusion of Balinese hospitality with French sophistication. The entrance is just stunning with a long pathway leading past the garden bungalows, through the living towards the the infinity pool blending in beautifully with the infinite ocean. This villa is also perfect for a dream wedding and it can easily sit down 30 people for an amazing in-house dinner in case of a special event.
The villa is ideal for hosting events and is surrounded by other villas that also cater to events.
The master suite is adjoined with the living and it has glass doors sliding open to a private veranda where you can sit and enjoy the ocean view. The air-conditioned room features a a deluxe bed and a leather chair facing a flat-screen TV. The en-suite bathroom boasts a balé with a sunken bathtub that appears to be floating in a pond. Its a stunning sight and a unique bathing experience.
Two of the air-conditioned bedrooms are tucked in lovely garden bungalows with Balinese flair and the other two are flanking the mezzanine upstairs, providing you with an amazing view to wake up to in the morning. All the rooms feature comfy beds, 3 queen and 1 twin-bedded, along with TV's, dressing-rooms and private en-suite bathrooms with a bathtub and shower.

From the teak wooden entrance gate you can already see the ocean through the covered pathway ahead. The water flows with you along the path to the main garden where you will face the 2 20-meter infinity-edge swimming pools blending in with the ocean and the clear blue sky. For the kids there is a green grass lawn to run around while you are sunbathing on the pool-side loungers, swimming laps or chilling out in one of the alang-alang roofed gazebo's.
The lovely open-plan living pavilion has a high soaring alang-alang roof with a beautiful designers lamp crafted out of teak wood. There is a Balinese sofa-lounge with a another nicely designed lamp. The space is decorated with tasteful traditional artwork and it has an amazing ocean view. Wooden doors slide open to an air-conditioned dining room with a natural teak wooden dining-table for up to 12 people and a bar-lounge for enjoying drinks in style. Following one of the two staircases from the living, leads to a mezzanine, again with great view, a nice place to curl up with a book.
Live life in ultimate comfort and luxury! Villa Melissa provides the services of a butler, chef, and housekeeping. Within the Pantai Lima Estate there is a tennis-court and a fully equipped gym free to use.
This villa is tucked in a peaceful area of Canggu where you can see lush green rice-fields, desolated beaches and tropical greenery, making you feel far away from the crowds. Yet If you feel the need to venture out of this piece of heaven on earth, the famous shopping district of Seminyak is just a 20 minutes drive away and the world famous Nirvana golf course, just 15 minutes away.
10/10My wife and I stayed at Villa Melissa for 10 days, and everyday was better than the last,the Villa is amazing, the location is stunning, and the staff are so genuinely nice and always ready to assist with anything, we didn't want to leave. But we will definitely be back for another stay in the future. Highly recommended

10/10House was incredible and the staff was even better. The entire time there was super relaxing. Our group consisted of people with dietary restrictions and the chef came up with delicious meals to satisfy everyone.

Whilst boasting expansive grounds and traditional Balinese architecture reminiscent of Uluwatu's most grandiose five-star resorts, we felt the location still managed to maintain the privacy, security and intimacy of a private Villa. Kept in sparkling condition by highly-trained staff of totally unrivaled quality, we found ourselves wanting for nothing at Villa Melissa. The location is highly versatile. From weddings to retreats - or just a gathering of friends - if you have a reason to stay at Melissa, use it.
10/10My best friend recently had her wedding ceremony and reception at Villa Melissa and i have to say it is an incredibly beautiful location. Gorgeous views of the ocean, pool facilities and rooms that made the event take place smoothly. The Bride and Bridesmaids were able to use the master bedroom to get ready for the ceremony and then walk directly onto the garden with beach views. The size of the venue is perfect for 50 -70 people. Lovely location.
10/10Unbelievably tranquil houses with gorgeous pools, right on the beach. This is a private home, not a hotel so best for independent or seasoned travellers. Very helpful and savvy staff made our party so comfortable whether we were lounging or dining or driving around to enjoy Bali. Definitely a trip of a lifetime.

10/10My son and wife held their wedding at Villa Melissa. It was an amazing place to stay for the few days. The staff were attentive, the food was wonderful and the rooms were extremely modern and comfortable. It was private and a great location to relax and unwind. I will go back in an instant.

8.4/10Overall, we had a lovely time. From the pool to the beach, the villa was fabulous. The staff were very service-minded and nice, though the handover from shift to shift could have been improved. We had a few food orders missing. The food was generally excellent, better than most Bali villas.
