Villa Cempaka is a gorgeous 4-bedroom luxury villa, part of the Siri Mendira Beach Villas that are found in the east of Bali, near to Candidasa. Named after the Cempaka flower, Villa Cempaka is indeed a beauty to behold, overlooking the ocean. The Siri Mendira Beach Villas share a strip of private beach, setting the scene for a romantically glorious beach adventure. Whilst gazing out at the beautiful horizon, it is easy to let a sense of serenity descend gently upon you. Villa Cempaka is truly a paradise that embodies tropical beach living.
The master bedroom is found on the first floor of the double storey pavilion and it enjoys uninterrupted ocean views. The room is adjoined by a balcony with two day-beds, the best spot of the house to enjoy some quiet time reading a book. This deluxe king-bedded bedroom features air-conditioning and a private en suite that comes with a rain-shower and a bathtub.
There are three air-conditioned guest bedrooms at Villa Cempaka, one found on the first floor with great sea view and two on ground level, with easy access to the garden and the swimming pool. Each bedroom boasts a super king sized bed and a private en suite bathroom with bathtub and shower, allowing everyone to enjoy the same luxuries. The fine trappings and magnificent views promise a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

In the ocean-front garden grow towering palm trees with leaves dancing in the wind along side scenting frangipani trees. While swimming laps in the stunning 17 metre infinity pool, you can gaze at the view of the infinite ocean. The kids can happily play in the green grass while you are working on that gorgeous tropical tan. Next to the infinity pool, there is an alfresco dining balé, great for intimate candlelight dinners to the breathtaking ocean view or tropical breakfast before Bali's heat makes you long for a jump in the refreshing water of the pool.
Stepping stones in the manicured green lawn lead into the open-plan, fan-cooled living room of Villa Cempaka. The living room is certainly the place to be, for it enjoys a panoramic view of the ocean and it overlooks the stunning infinity pool. The space is furnished with classy comfortable furniture, antiques, traditional artwork and rich textiles. In the front there is a seating area for gazing at this enchanting view. More to the back, there is another sofa for watching movies on the flat-screen TV tucked in a wooden cabinet. There is also a teak dining table for enjoying meals together in the comfort of your own holiday home and the living room has access to a fully equipped guest kitchen and a guest bathroom.
Being part of the Siri Mendira Beach Villas, you can be sure of outstanding services by highly trained staff. There is a villa manager, a chef, butlers, maids, a gardener and 24 hour security. Don't hesitate to ask all of your questions to the staff, as they are very happy to help. In-villa massages, transport and day-trips can all be arranged for you upon request.
The Siri Mendira Beach Villas are found in Candidasa, a charming beach town in the east of Bali island. The estate has access to a private white-sand beach. The sea is perfect for snorkeling, with colourful underwater life to admire. Villa Cempaka is surrounded by untouched nature and traditional Balinese villages where you get to see the authentic rural life of farmers in the rice fields and mystical ceremonies at the village temples. In Candidasa you will find some shops, café's and charming restaurants.
9.6/10We spent a wonderful week at the Villa Cempaka with two families of 4. All four rooms with the adjacent bathrooms were very spacious, nice & clean with very good beds and enough space for clothes and we all also enjoyed the extra outside 'beds' in front of each room. Living room and outside area of the villa are beautifully furnished and had a very nice garden / green area around the house. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - Mika, the villa manager was a great 'host' providing many tipps and helped organizing tripps. The chef and the staff prepared delicious meals for the whole group.
10/10Cette villa est absolument magnifique. Exactement comme sur les photos. La vue extraordinaire sur l'océan est magique et prendre son petit déjeuner chaque matin au bord de l'eau, quel bonheur. Toutes chambres sont spacieuses et avec vue sur l'océan et l'on dort bercé par le bruit des vagues. Le service est top, comme dans un hôtel mais avec l'intimité de la maison. Merci à toute l'équipe pour leur gentillesse. Quand la mer est calme, vous pourrez prendre masque et tuba pour aller voir les centaines de poissons.
8.8/10The ideal place for summer holidays. We have enjoyed the villa for 14 days and the whole experience was fascinating. Ideal location, close to the unspoiled Bali, private coral reef for snorkelling in front of the villa, incredibly friendly and professional staff with the right balance between home privacy and 5 star hotel service. The excellent cook and variety of options from Balinese to Western food made us to have all our 14 dinners in the villa. Every single moment (even for a long stay) was a absolute pleasure, with the right ambience to rest, but also live the real Bali.
8.8/10Unusually for holiday rentals, this villa was as perfect as the pictures. Beautiful pool, gorgeous bedrooms and bathrooms and a lovely setting; beautifully designed. Going to sleep every night and listening to the sound of the sea was magical. The staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful and discreet.They prepared lovely breakfasts for us, organised a driver for a tour and showed us how to cook a curry. A great spot.
