Best Canggu Villas for Rent

Located just north of Seminyak, idyllic Canggu makes a great travel destination for both families with young children and 20-something backpackers. This rural beachside town offers great surfing, wide beaches, a plethora of lively dining options and luxurious villas (some with direct beach access!).

Wny You Should Stay in Canggu Villas

There’s something for every traveller looking for Canggu villas - whether you’re into beachfront living, enjoy being enveloped by tropical greenery or want the best of both worlds. The surroundings are lush and quiet, with most Canggu villas located a 20 to 30-minute drive from the town centre and bustling Seminyak.

Activities Around Bali Canggu Villas

Many Canggu villas offer access to the posh Finns Recreation Club (previously known as Canggu Club) as part of your rental. This family-friendly venue, featuring amenities like a fitness room, tennis courts, bowling alley, on-site restaurants, kids club and poolside bar is ideal for families with kids.

Beach lovers are spoilt for choice while enjoying their stay at Canggu villas. You’ll find something that floats your boat - whether you’re keen on riding the waves, swimming laps or are just in the mood for sunbathing and chilling out along the coast. Nelayan beach is a great option for wading and swimming, while the heavy surf and currents at the beaches of Pererenan and Echo are ideal for expert surfers. Berawa is a good bet for surfers and swimmers alike - but this also depends on how strong the waves are.

Love how rejuvenated you feel after an invigorating yoga session? Go stretch it out with daily morning yoga sessions in your villa, or join in a class at Samadi Yoga or Desa Seni’s School of Yoga. Sink into a deeper state of relaxation with an indulgent spa ritual; Merapu Svaasthya spa, Therapy and Gold Dust Beauty Lounge are some of the best spa parlours on the island.

Family Activities When Staying in a Canggu Villa

Your Bali vacation won’t be complete without a bout of family fun. Take the little ones out for a horse riding session at the Bali Equestrian Centre, where you’ll find children programs, tours and top-notch facilities. Your kids will also enjoy taking in the Instagram-worthy sight of the Pererenan rice fields, as well as catching the gorgeous sunset scenery at Nelayan beach.

If you aren’t travelling with little ones in tow, how about unwinding in the evenings with cocktails and a spectacular sunset show at a stylish beach club? We like Finns beach club for its lively ambience, and The Lawn Beach Lounge because it has it all - hammocks, huge pillows, great vibes and more. Complete the night with drinks and live music at Deus Cafe, Sandbar or RezzMatazz.

What to Eat When Staying at Canggu Villas

Dining options are aplenty around Canggu villas. L'Osteria has some of the tastiest Italian items in town, Ruko Cafe oozes vibrant vibes and Milk & Madu offers a family-friendly setting. For an extra special night, we say: enjoy an intimate al fresco dinner in your villa!

Frequently Asked Questions about Canggu Villas

Is it better to stay in Seminyak or Canggu?
That's a tough question, even for us who have been in Bali all this time. We love both areas and can guarantee that you have a great time in both. So don't worry too much. Both have excellent restaurants, beautiful villas, plenty of cafes and shops. If it's your first time in Bali, Seminyak is a great place to get your bearings. If you love to see more rice fields, healthy cafes and boutiques, then you will definitely enjoy staying in villas in Canggu.

Is Canggu worth it?
Yes - and it's not because we are biased (if we can say so ourselves). Canggu area has many nice villas. Some of our favourite restaurants and yoga studios are in Canggu, and you will never run out of cafes to try.

How far are Canggu villas from the beach?
If you are staying at a luxury beachfront villa in Canggu, the beach is right in front of your doorstep. We also have villas that are more affordable but within walking distance to the beach or if you don't care about the beach at all, the are Canggu villas further inland.
