Thank you for your interest in our villas. We look forward to speaking with you!
Villa Amrita is a cherished mountainside retreat in the small village of Keliki. From the bustling Ubud center, the villa can be reached by a 10 minute scenic drive passing through verdant green rice fields, the imposing Batur volcano, and tropical rainforest. The second you enter the grounds of Villa Amrita, you know you are in a special place; panoramic views of towering palms and steep, terraced rice paddies set the scene for your Bali holiday. There are three elegantly appointed bedrooms at Villa Amrita, each of them with stunning views out to the jungle backdrop.
The master suite is located on the left side of the villa, boasting a king-size bed set under a dramatic headboard of ivory canopy curtains. Low lighting and air conditioning set the mood just right, as does the iPod dock and flat screen TV for when you feel like flipping through international channels or putting a movie on. But the best part of this room is yet to come! Comparable to that of a 5-star hotel is the master's en-suite bathroom, a sumptuous indoor/outdoor layout that tempts you to spend hours and hours bathing the day away. Highlights include side-by-side rain showers, an oversized jacuzzi tub, double wash basins and rice field vistas.
The second bedroom at Villa Amrita is located at the opposite end of the home, enjoying its own separate balcony through sliding glass doors. Also featuring a king-size bed, mosquito netting, air conditioning and a TV, this room has similar features to the master suite. The en-suite bathroom is impressive too, distinguished by its standalone bathtub, shower alcove, enclosed WC and double sinks all in an open-air setting.
The third and last bedroom can be found in between the previous two, adjacent to the main living room and well-suited for kids of all ages. Furnished with two twin beds that can be converted into a king upon request, this guest bedroom is styled with a small sitting couch and a combination of B&W and color photos from Bali's Hindu ceremonies. Through a walk-in wardrobe you will find the room's private outdoor bathroom, complete with a bathtub, shower, hair dryer, WC and single sink. In addition, there is a selection of signature Villa Amrita bath products to sample and try out during your stay here.
Beautiful flower gardens, stone mural carvings and art pieces decorate the villa compound. The central hangout spot is no doubt the 12 meter long infinity pool and a pool deck where guests can lounge, sunbathe, read and relax. There is also a massage table and a masseuse on call for when in need of some deeply rejuvenating spa therapy.
The living and dining rooms are designed in an enclosed space that can be kept cool when air conditioned or opened up to let in the natural mountain breezes. A TV sofa lounge resides on one side of the room, while on the other sits a fully-equipped kitchen and a six person dining table to enjoy home cooked meals during your stay. The owner of Villa Amrita has paid great attention to detail, decorating the main living area with aroma diffusers and a state-of-the-art espresso machine so you can sip on a hot cappuccino as the mist lifts off the trees in the morning time.
Besides soaking in all the natural splendour of the villa surroundings, guests can also explore the cultural treasures of Ubud, and make time to learn more about art and craft in Bali, watch a cultural performance, or visit an ancient temple. The water temple of Tirta Empul and the mountainside shrine of Gunung Kawi are less than 20 minutes away by car and are not to be missed during a stay in Ubud.
If you're looking for a tranquil, up market, decadent holiday in Bali, Villa Amrita is for you! We stayed for 8 nights, the majority of which we shared with friends (another couple). The setting for this villa is breathtaking, and far enough away from the town of Ubud that there are no tourists anywhere - just locals, rice paddies & views! The rooms & grounds are just as advertised, and unlike a lot of places, there is no "superior room" where part of the group feel hard done by getting the smaller bedroom. They are all beautiful, & all have their own huge bathroom. Everything is clean & the attention to detail is excellent. Our bed was like sleeping on a cloud - I never wanted to get up! Main villa staff are wonderful, friendly & incredibly helpful. Sedana took such pride in creating a new 'treat' for us every afternoon, and Ayu was an absolute delight - I wanted to take her home with me! Jon (the owner) has unbelievable communication skills! Emails were responded to within minutes, and he called us three times during our stay to make sure everything was exceeding our expectations, & to double check we had everything we needed. He even gifted a beautiful champagne for us to enjoy during our NYE celebrations - a generous & unexpected gesture.
We recently returned from two magical weeks in Bali. One of the highlights was our stay at the serene Villa Amrita in the town of Ubud. Villa Amrita is a short ride from the main town of Ubud. The villa offers one complementary round trip ride into town per day. They give you a cell phone that allows you to ring the driver when you are ready to be picked up. You can also hire the driver for additional excursions. A full made to order breakfast is also part of the package. If you don’t fee l like leaving the villa, dinner can be prepared for a nominal fee. The thing I like best about Villa Amrita is that it felt like home. It had just the right amount of luxury without being over the top
My wife and I traveled on and around Bali for two weeks with our kids of 4 and 7 years old. We finished our holiday with 4 nights in Villa Amrita. Of course we had seen the pictures on Internet but nevertheless were overwhelmed with the beauty of the place and the surroundings. The staff was great. Food was very nice and the massage they organized at the villa for us was heavenly. Daily pick-up and return to Ubud was provided. Nevertheless we asked them to rent two motorbikes for us for the last two days, which was great to drive to the elephant farm and dinner in Ubud. The kids were thrilled.
Charming residence among the ricefields , very well equiped, esthetic design, beautiful infinity swimming pool. Possibilities to get your diner cooked at home, excellent balinese food.
