Thank you for your interest in our villas. We look forward to speaking with you!
Villa Arimbi is a vacation complex composed of about five pavilions – all featuring traditional Balinese architecture – with its prominent alang-alang thatch roofs. Interiors are appointed with furnishings displaying different design categories – mostly bleached, woven and finely finished wood furnishings along with period, ornate and classic European luxury pieces. Amenities are essentially of hotel and resort quality – for each and every guest’s pure pleasure and indulgence. Constructed amidst a lush tropical garden, Villa Arimbi extends to you genteel living in an atmosphere that is truly enchanting.
The villa has five bedrooms in three individual pavilions. Each bedroom is designed following a specific motif. In the Temple Pavilion are the Orient Express Bedroom which has a canopied and draped double bed, and the Nomad Bedroom which has canopied and draped twin beds. In the Pond Pavilion are the Uluwatu Bedroom which has a canopied and draped king-sized bed, and the Shalimar Bedroom which has a canopied and draped double bed. While in the No. 5 Pavilion is a bedroom with a canopied and draped king-sized bed. All bedrooms have dedicated, semi-open bathrooms with rain showers – some of which are outdoor. The Nomad and Uluwatu bathrooms, however, also have bathtubs. The villa’s very own lumbung or rice granary can be used as a yoga place or great for kids as a play area.
Bordered on one side by plants and trees is the 12-meter swimming pool. Immerse yourself in its refreshing, glassy waters for some aimless wading or for some playful splashing. For a tan, you can stretch out on cushioned, wooden pool beds partially covered by Balinese parasols on the poolside wooden deck. When the temperature rises, withdraw to the shade of the bale at one end of the pool where you can recline on the woven wood chairs. Or, slumber on the woven wood day bed as a balmy breeze blows by.
On about half of the villa’s semi-open, airy and high-ceilinged central pavilion is the living area. Around its long sofa and cushioned, woven wood chairs, you can all get together for engaging conversation. On the other half of the pavilion is the dining area with its wooden table which accommodates ten. Here, you can all indulge in authentic local specialties – as well as Western staples – masterfully prepared by the in-house chef at the fully-equipped, modern kitchen behind the central pavilion. At the other end of the swimming pool – across the pool bale – is another pavilion with a TV lounge and bar where you can await the next episode of the newest hit series, replay your best-loved classic film, or have cocktails and after-dinner drinks. The villa also has a massage room where you can ease aching muscles with a traditional Balinese massage accompanied by other pampering spa treatments. In the middle of the villa’s large lotus pond is a garden bale where you can spend some alone time.
Tasked to render the everyday services of the villa is an efficient, friendly staff that’s comprised of a personal guest assistant, a pool attendant, a gardener as well as housekeepers and security personnel. Aside from the chef, a babysitter, a driver, a laundry helper and a spa therapist may be called in upon your request. However, their services come with a separate charge. Scooter and car rentals are also available.
Villa Arimbi is based in Mertasari on the south of Sanur. From the villa, Mertasari Beach is just five minutes away on foot. Go underwater via the Bali Seawalker for a view of the beautiful reefs with colorful fish. You might as well proceed to Serangan Island where you can swim with a dozen black tip and white tip reef shark pups. The encounter includes a tour of the Turtle Conservation And Education Center as well as of fascinating marine gardens. On another day trip, go see the Le Mayeur Museum, the Griya Santrian Gallery and the Blanjong Temple where you will find an old stone pillar with Sanskrit inscriptions.
