Thank you for your interest in our villas. We look forward to speaking with you!
Villa Yuyu is a vacation residence that epitomizes contemporary Balinese rustic chic. Interiors are appointed with mostly weathered bleach as well as beautifully crafted woven wood furnishings, with a few elaborate pieces and touches of traditional décor. Amenities are discriminatingly five star – to ensure all-out guest delight and enjoyment. Villa Yuyu, truly, affords you modern comfort with a countryside and peaceful ambience.
The villa has four bedrooms. Two bedrooms have canopied and draped king-sized beds. Another bedroom has a queen-sized bed, while one other bedroom has twin beds. All bedrooms, however, have dedicated bathrooms with rain showers
Perpendicular to the villa is the eight-meter swimming pool. Give in to its beckoning, glassy waters for some mindless wading, or for some playful splashing. For some sun, you can lie on cushioned, rattan pool beds – some partially covered by a large umbrella – on the poolside wooden deck or on the garden’s well-kept lawn. You can also recline on cushioned, circular, rattan day beds under the tall palm trees.
At the breezy, semi-open and spacious covered terrace extending from the villa’s ground level is the living area. Around its hefty and long, cushioned bleach wood couch and chairs, you can all converge for moments of family or friendly bonding. At the center of a spacious and high-ceilinged pavilion connected to the covered terrace is the dining area with its carved wood table good for eight. Here, you can all have your fill of authentic Balinese specialties – as well as foreign fare – freshly cooked by the onsite chef at the fully-equipped kitchen behind the dinner table. Provided with high stools, the kitchen’s long counter can also double as a bar.
In charge of carrying out the day-to-day services of the villa is an efficient staff that’s comprised of a personal guest assistant, a pool attendant, a gardener as well as housekeepers and security personnel. Aside from the chef, a babysitter, a driver, a laundry helper and a spa therapist may be called in upon your request. Their services, however, come with a separate charge. Scooter and car rentals are also available.
Villa Yuyu is located in the area of Balian Beach. Walking distance from the villa is the beach itself – formerly Bali’s well-kept surfing secret. If you’re into surfing, you can ride the waves – famous for its multiple reef breaks – right here. On an excursion outside the villa, you can familiarize yourself with the territory by strolling along the extensive, relatively secluded, squid-ink, black shoreline. At some point, you will arrive at the Soka Bat Temple. On another occasion, you can include in your itinerary a local mekepung or bull race and an agro-tour of the Lumbung Berkat Dragon Fruit Gardens.
Small but perfectly formed Villa, on two levels, close to Balian Village eminently suitable for 4 people looking for privacy. One of two, side-by-side, on their own towards the beach end of a local road from the main highway. The beach, a staggeringly beautiful, long and empty, shallow, fine black sand one, was the main reason for our choice. Although commented on elsewhere as being "remote" the location is remarkably convenient locally with the beach not more than a few (2) minutes walk away down the road, a hotel restaurant (Gajah Mina) maybe around 6 minutes away across the fields and Balian Surf Beach with its multitude of small eateries (and a yoga venue and massages) not more than 10 minutes on foot for those not interested in self-catering (body or mind!). For those of a self-catering inclination, a local market for groceries, vegetables and fruit is up the road towards the main highway and the villa itself is stocked with most of the more difficult basic ingredients needed for european style cooking. Not to forget that the villa staff are highly capable of obtaining any produce you need and themselves cooking up what you may want at the whim of your desires! We ordered a fish for one evening and Wayin delivered a fresh Red Snapper of about 2kg for our cooking experimentation the next day. Wonderful! The guest-side of the villa looks onto beautiful rice paddy fields which, during our stay, we watched mature from green to a ripe green/yellow, and is quiet and calm with a small pool and the ubiquitous balinese manicured garden well set-up for outdoor living, clean and relatively bug-free day and night. The garden provides fresh ginger, lemon grass and chilli for cooking and tea infusions. Of course, the house cat, if SHE so wishes, may accompany you day and night too!
This was a great villa! The kids had a great time at the villa and at the beach. It is a peaceful place and the manager Wyan was a great host. He always had everything ready and was helpful whenever you needed something. He made the stay worthwhile as he as very accommodating and spoke English very well.
We had a great experience at Villa Yuyu. It takes about 3 hours by car to reach the villa area from the airport, quite far from all the main tourism activities in Bali, however, a perfect location for a family retreat .The Villa is cute and surrounded by great nature, the closeby seaside views like "Tanah Lot but private" with cliff and awesome wave. The pool though is rather small, good for a dip only. The seaside is not for swimming but good for a walk or a run on the black sand beach. The manager Wanya has been very nice to us, making nice drinks for us and running our errands without any problem. We would surely return if we could.
When you open the Villa Yuyu's door, you open the gateway to heaven ! It´s a unique place, lovely decorated with a beautiful garden and a great view on the fields. The beach is at 5 minutes by feet and there's no one else but you to enjoy the sunset !
We had a wonderful time (twice) at Villa Yuyu. It's only 5 minutes walking from a very nice black sand beach where there are very few people. The house is really comfortable and well decorated. We went with our son of 2 years old who enjoyed the pool very much and the persons taking care of the house are lovely. If you want to stay in a non touristic area in Bali, in a beautiful house, it's the perfect place.
A lovely villa with fantastic staff and grounds. Beautifully presented and a very short walk from the beach. Also very close to Balian surf beach and a 30 minute drive to Medewi reef. The local seafood was great and the staff took care of every request. Fresh coconut milk from the garden was delicious.
Fantastic villa, pool and grounds! Great location beside the beach and close to local restaurants. Beautiful rooms. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the real Bali.
