Villa Angsoka is a grand vacation residence that highlights contemporary coastal luxury. With a predominantly white color scheme as well as wood lattice as the consistent design detail, interiors are appointed with mostly bleached and weathered wood furnishings accompanied by elaborate fixtures and woven wood pieces. Amenities are expectedly of hotel and resort standard – to guarantee sheer guest satisfaction and leisure. Erected along a secluded beach, Villa Angsoka gives you seafront living with a character that’s truly refined and peaceful.
The villa has six bedrooms. Four bedrooms are on the villa’s second floor – two of these are on both wings of the villa. While two other bedrooms are on the ground floor of the villa’s both wings. All bedrooms have canopied and draped king-sized beds as well as dedicated bathrooms with fitted or free-standing bathtubs and rain showers – some of which are outdoor. Bedrooms on the second floor open out to furnished balconies with marvelous ocean views. While bedrooms on the ground floor have direct access to the swimming area.
The centerpiece of the property’s exterior is the 20-meter infinity pool. Jump into its refreshing, crystal clear waters for some mindless wading. Or, pull everyone in for some splashy fun and games. From the water, you can laze on cushioned, woven wood pool beds partially covered by large umbrellas on the poolside stone deck, or out in the sun on the wooden deck by the beach. The swimming area – with its well-kept lawn that merges with a short stretch of gray sand – is perfect for beach bonfires especially on cool evenings.
At the villa’s semi-open, spacious, breezy and high-ceilinged common area – which is on the villa’s ground floor – is the living area with four sitting set ups. Here, on long, cushioned and fitted, as well as hefty, cushioned woven wood couches and chairs, you can all hang out for lively interaction. There are two dining areas. The indoor dining area – with its long timber wood table that seats 12 – is at the center of the four sitting areas. While the alfresco dining area – with another long timber wood table that seats 14 – is under the shade of the bale at one end of the infinity pool. At any of these dining areas, you can all relish authentic Balinese cuisine – as well as your most requested comfort food and favorite wine – meticulously prepared by the onsite chef at the fully-equipped, ultra-modern gourmet kitchen at one wing of the villa. At the opposite wing is a media room where you can catch TV shows you’ve been following closely. Or, go on a marathon of your can’t-get-enough-of movies. The villa also has a gym with cardio machines, core strengthening equipment and free weights – so you can still do your fitness regimen even while you’re out of town. There’s also a spa room where you can relieve sore muscles with a traditional Balinese massage along with other relaxing treatments.
Assigned to attend to the villa’s regular services is a helpful staff which consists of a personal guest assistant, a pool attendant, a gardener as well as housekeepers and security personnel. In addition to the chef, a babysitter, a driver, a laundry helper and a spa therapist may, upon your request, be called in. Their services, however, will be charged separately. Bike, scooter, car and boat rentals are also available.
Villa Angsoka is located in Candidasa. Hop aboard a traditional and colorful outrigger – a jukung – and set out for Jemeluk Bay where you’ll get to swim with schools of tropical fish, bales of sea turtles, reef tip sharks and manta rays. You’ll also marvel at wonderful coral gardens as well as a sunken World War II Japanese ship. Continue your aquatic adventures on another day at the Candidasa Lotus Lagoon, the Taman Ujung Water Palace and the Tirta Gangga Water Gardens. On a separate day trip, tour cultural and historic sites like the Goa Lawah and the Lempuyang Temples, the Keta Gosa Hall Of Justice and Tenganan Pegringsingan – one of the oldest villages in Bali.
9.2/10Together with friends we stayed at Angsoka for four nights. Three families having a great time in this beautiful stylish villa. I loved the interior, the colors, the lay out and the big spaces at the living area. It is the most stylish villa I have ever stayed in!!! The staff were helpful and pleasant, the food was good, and it was great to enjoy the meals in the villa instead of running around looking for restaurants with food that everybody is happy with. To wake up in the morning, go out and enjoy the breathtaking view is just lovely. We hired a boat to visit white beach one day - this was a great experience. Three of the boys working at the villa came and served us a lovely lunch at the beach - great service! We do recommend this trip. We are active people, so the beach was used for boot camp and different challenges and games for the children - great fun for everybody. We also took a trip to the to of the a little mountain. 600 steps to the top!! Nice work out that I would recommend if you are adventurous. A bit like Stoltzen in Bergen!!!! The only thing I missed was a greater selection of good wines and a good coffee machine that could make latte and mocca :-) I really want to come back here - already thinking of having a great celebration here next year.
9.6/10We stayed at Angsoka & the neighbouring Bakung for 4 nights. It was a group of 16 adults & 5 kids - & every single person agreed it was the best accommodation they had stayed at. All the bedrooms were beautifully presented, the living areas spacious & the ocean view is gorgeous. The staff were all excellent, nothing was too much trouble. We had a huge group buffet style dinner for my birthday - the food was fantastic, as good as any restaurant we ate at & reasonably priced. The villas are located just out of the town, but drivers were always on hand if we wanted to go anywhere. The cost to go into Candidasa was only about $3. We highly recommend these villas & hope to get back there ourselves one day.
