Villa Cattleya

There are three air-conditioned bedrooms at Villa Cattleya of which the master bedroom is found in a private pavilion downstairs by the pool and the remaining two are located upstairs with adjoining balconies. Each bedroom is a private oasis with double beds where guests are invited to rest and catch their breath before heading out to explore Umalas. As the bedrooms are air-conditioned, you will never feel too hot inside and you can always leave the doors open for fresh tropical air.

Two of the bedrooms including the master bedroom is equipped with a TV for your enjoyment. All three bedrooms come with ensuites and the master bathroom is partially outdoors with lush foliage, a bathtub and a tropical rain-shower.

Villa Cattleya has been designed to ensure you have a complete indoor/outdoor living experience. From the private pool to the verdant gardens, there is something to be said about the lush landscape. Relax on circular rattan daybeds or under the poolside bale where there is a comfortable daybed under a peaked ceiling ideal for an afternoon siesta. Traditional stone sculptures feed the pool in a meditative stance. Request the staff for a poolside massage for the ultimate experience.

When you wish to relax and spend time with everyone at the end of the day, head on over to the poolside living area. For some fresh air, slide open the glass doors so you can have breezy indoors at all times. The interiors are marked by spotless white and cream for a soothing vibe and in contrast the colour of the blue sky can be seen in the furnishings. The comfortable sofa sits facing the massive, flat-screen TV and entertainment console. Since the room is air-conditioned, you can even enjoy the cool air during peak afternoon hours.

Divided by a staircase that leads to the upstairs bedroom stands the other half of the living area i.e. the dining and modern kitchen. With its own set of glass doors, the expansive dining area is equally well-designed. The bright and airy space has a six-seater dining table with powder blue long-backed chairs. A western kitchen that is fully-equipped stands in the corner with ample counter space including an island. Fitted with modern and state of the art appliances, the kitchen is ready for use by guests.

The staff at Villa Cattleya is attentive to the needs of guests and they are happy to cater to all your requirements. A personal villa manager will oversee the smooth functioning of the day-to-day chores as well. From grocery shopping for your daily meals to a delicious breakfast, the staff will happily do everything upon request. Some services may be charged additionally. They can even arrange for chauffeured-cars.
