Nearby the cultural hub of Ubud, Villa Cendrawasih Satu is a traditional Balinese holiday home with four bedrooms and thatched-roof pavilions. Surrounded by spectacular rice terraces, rolling fields of green, the villa is secluded and provides ample privacy and a quiet corner of paradise. Flush with abundant flora that fringes the walled gardens, the villa is well-suited for both friends and family. The main centre is not far from the villa and there is much to do including Yoga Barn, Monkey Forest, Elephant Trail, etc.
There are four bedrooms at the villa, three furnished with king-sized beds and one with a queen-sized bed. The décor is kept simple and crisp with a luxurious take on wooden four-poster bed in the master bedroom. Equipped with TVs and surround sound and air-conditioning, the rooms are teeming with modern convenience.
Glass doors lead to the garden and also allow in abundant natural light and fresh-air. Each bedroom comes with its own en-suite bathroom in which three are fitted with natural stone bathtubs and one with an outdoor monsoon shower amidst tropical foliage. The bathrooms are all partially open-air.
A 7-metre mosaic-tiled swimming pool with its cerulean water takes centre-stage in the outdoor area at Villa Cendrawasih. Bordered by verdant tropical vegetation, the pool area is definitely the most refreshing and relaxing spot as you can spend hours in the pool without even noticing. For those who want to work on getting a tan, there are sun chairs on the wooden pool deck that can be used by guests. Pro tip: definitely pack your sunscreen! On the other end of the pool, you will see an intimate alfresco dining area in a gazebo for the perfect meal under the starry-night sky.
Under a traditional, alang-alang pavilion that soars high up, stands the open-sided living area at Villa Cendrawasih. Furnished with bright green and pristine white sofas and chairs, the living area is where you will find yourself in the evening, simply gazing at the scenery and enjoying the fresh air. There is a swing chair for you to relax on and you can even read a book while the gently rocks you to a deep slumber. The spacious room is perfect as a common space for guests after a long day out about town.
Besides the alfresco dining option, you can dine indoors as well as there is a uniquely-designed dining table with ample seating for guests. Just beside the dining area stands the indoor bar where you can grab a few drinks while enjoying the warm weather. The kitchen is fully-equipped with modern amenities and appliances for your use.
The villa is equipped plenty of services for guests such as a team of professionals including housekeeping, pool/ garden maintenance, security, and personal guest assistance available upon request. You can rent out chauffeured cars, bicycles, boats, and scooters as well and book an in-house massage.
Found in a serene part of Ubud and its surrounding areas, the villa is definitely meant for relaxation and rejuvenation. There is still plenty you can do in the city centre including going to health cafes that serve delicious acai bowls and smoothies or book a session at the Yoga Barn. The Elephant Safari Lodge is not far from the villa and you can take a hike through Monkey Forest and meet some of our friends.
