Balangan Beach
Touted as one of the best surf spots in all of Bali, Balangan Beach is a quiet spot with a laid back surf crowd. On the sand are chairs and umbrellas available for rent every day, as well a strip of warungs and cafes serving up fresh food and ice cold beer. You must descend a long staircase to arrive on the sand, but it is definitely a manageable climb in comparison to some of the Bukit's harder to reach beaches. Do note that some areas of the beach can be a bit rocky and slippery at low tide, so be aware of the tides when going for a dip. With good vibes and a spectacular backdrop of cliffs, this is one of our favorite beaches on the island.
