In between the main living compound and the garden-lounge lies the tropical garden of Villa Samuan Kalih featuring a large swimming pool surrounded by a timber deck where you can go sunbathing on one of the wooden sunbeds or have a little day-time nap in the shade of the parasol. The garden lounge features a seating area, perfect for enjoying your morning espresso or reading a book. Small children can safely play in the green grass as there is a pool fence available.
The traditional Balinese living pavilion can be opened up to both the private garden as the communal patio shared with Villa Samuan Siki. The space has a beautiful East meets West interior design combining wooden furniture and traditional artefacts with a modern white seating area and a large flat screen TV with DVD player. Lovers of culture will immediately notice the framed posters hanging on the wall, showing a glimpse of the owners interests and giving character to the room. In the evening the stylish lamps will create a nice ambience for an intimate dinner at the thick wooden dining table big enough to accommodate 6 people. There is a small kitchen where you have the possibility of making your own food but you can also let the chef-cook prepare you delicious meals in the massive staff-kitchen situated in between the two Samuan villas.

10/10From the first moment we walked into the villa, we felt very comfortable, the team made us feel very welcomed and immediately felt like home. The villa itself is gorgeous, very well laid out and the pool was amazing. Only a few minutes walk to the heart of Seminyak which was perfect. The villa team is what made the big difference, whether it was cooking us individually catered breakfast, drinks by the pool during the day or a 3 course dinner, everything was delicious and nothing was a ever problem. We loved every minute of our stay, the only regret is we only stayed 8 nights, we should have stayed longer, we will definitely stay there again If we ever travel to Bali.
10/10My family recently had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Samuan in Bali. This place is truly a little piece of paradise on Earth. We stayed in the 2 Bedroom Villa Kalih which was stunning. Beautiful Balinese architecture, gorgeous decorations and furnishing, amazing gardens and pool. But what truly makes a stay at Villa Samuan so wonderful is the beautiful staff. Everyone is soooo friendly, helpful and make you feel right at home. Every morning we awoke to gorgeous smiling faces serving a delicious breakfast around the pool. Komang (& all the staff) checked on us throughout the day to see if they could do anything for us to make our stay even more wonderful. We all felt extremely spoilt with the attention to servicing the Villa and the turn down service at night time. Komang would organise taxi's, rental of a motorbike, organised an amazing Cycling tour in Ubud, clear directions and maps, and a highlight was a delicious dinner on our last night - this was truly the best meal we had in Bali. The staff would always go above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. At the beginning of our stay my teenage daughter was not feeling well and did not want to join us at the beach. I felt more than comfortable leaving her in the extremely secure Villa (with its own security staff). Komang checked on her to make sure she was ok and safe, and even made her a special lunch to cheer her up - which it did, thanks Komang (she still talks about that). She said this was her favourite meal in Bali. I would highly recommend a stay at Villa Samuan. So a big thankyou to Bagus, Komang and all the beautiful staff. We were so sad to leave and hope to return one day to this little piece of paradise.
10/10As a frequent visitor to Bali for over the last 10 years Villa Samuan is for sure The Best Place to stay!! For a perfect vacation I highly recommand this stunning villa for a super relaxing vacation. Villa Samuan is a very stylish, spacious villa. Beautifull decorated and has a good balance of traditional Balinese and modern style with great attention to detail. The location is perfect: in a lovely tranquille neighberhood, just 3 minutes walk from the Beach ( KuDeTa) and many nice restaurants and shops are just around the corner. The quality of service makes a stay at Villa Samuan unforgettable; The staff is very friendly, polite and helpfull. Literally everything is taken care of. From the moment we arrived the service was first class. Every morning the staff prepared a lovely breakfast at the time we desired. If we decided to stay in the villa at the pool we were in a totally beautifull private setting and at lunchtime we were pamperred with a perfect lunch and fresh juices. Also it is possible to have your private dinner at the poolside; we really enjoyed eating under the stars!!! Compliments to the cook; We loved the Indonesian food!! But off course every mealchoice was availible; we just had to let them know what our wishes were; everything was possible. Villa Samuan is great to stay with family and friends. It is a perfect place to relax your mind, body and soul. I really enjoyed the prived massage in the villa!! And I loved my cup of fresh tea in the early morning or coming back from a lovely day at the beach. Thank you very, very much for taking care of us with an exceptional service, delicious food and first class villa!! We are looking forward to come back next summer.
