Sanur family villas

Sanur may once have has a reputation for being a sleepy town - its old nickname was ‘Snore’ - but has transformed itself to become an idyllic destination that offers a good mix of restaurants and bars, and boasts a beautiful beach. It’s also well located as a base for day trips, and offers a laid back ambience ideal for a restful family vacation.

Your Sanur villa is modern, spacious and light-filled, with multiple common areas, a private pool and well-manicured garden. From your villa, you’re a quick drive or a stroll away to the beach, restaurants and cafes. Our family-friendly properties offer personal guest services, on-site laundry service, professional child minding services, a fully equipped kitchen and facilities like a baby cot, high chair, stair gates and pool fence.

Step out to Bread Basket, the best cafe in town for freshly baked bread and pastries. Café Smorgas is a streetside venue dishing out sandwiches prepared using freshly baked bread. Maya's Coffee & Smoothie Bar is a great brunch spot for the entire family; a menu featuring waffles, eggs, pancakes and sandwiches ensures a good selection of kid-friendly meals for the little ones. Sand Beach Bar & Restaurant, Big Garden Corner and Massimo are other family-friendly dining venues that come with our recommendations.

Sanur Beach offers an excellent family experience. Take a walk or bike along the Beachwalk, go kitesurfing (June till August are the best months) or unwind at one of the waterfront restaurants and bars.

Away from the beach, there’s Power of Now Oasis, a yoga studio, Kayumanis Spa, an upscale venue known for its unique bamboo massage treatment, and Griya Santrian Gallery, an open-air venue that hosts art exhibitions, book launches and events.

If you’re travelling with young children, take them out to Peek A Boo Kid’s Play Cafe. They’ll have a ball of a time at the merry-go-round, play kitchen, ball pool and jungle gym. Older kids will enjoy excursions to the Dream Island Beach Club, where they can participate in camel and horse riding tours, diving, snorkeling or canoeing, or a trip to the Turtle Conservation and Education Centre to learn more about its rehabilitation efforts.

Sanur is a great base for offshore excursions and day trips. It’s about 30 minutes by speed boat to Nusa Lembongan, a quiet and scenic island that offers snorkeling, banana boating and surfing. Ubud, the arts and culture hub of the island is about an hour’s drive away. Extensive rice paddies, beautifully constructed temples, well-curated museums and a thriving arts and crafts scene are some of the highlights in town. The best dining, shopping and nightlife attractions in Bali are to be found in Seminyak. It’s about a 50-minute drive from Sanur.
