Sasak Village
No trip to Lombok is complete without paying a visit to the indigenous people of Lombok. The Sasak people still live in their traditional houses in the village of Sade. Houses are uniquely built by mixing cow dung with soil and also arranged in straight lines. They also practice Wektu Telu, a syncretic form of religion that mixes Islam with other influences.
