Pura Luhur Batukaru

Situated on the foothills of Batukaru Mountain, this remote temple still remains one of the most significant temples in the entire island. Many arrive here to enhance their spiritual development; mostly by meditation. The holy water at this temple is frequently used at ceremonies as a serving to the Hindu Gods. However, do note that pregnant women are prohibited from entering this sacred area.
