About Villa Candi Kecil 2
Situated in one of Ubud's many traditional villages, Villa Candi Kecil 2 is the larger of the two Candi Kecil private homes. Boasting three bedrooms each, these villas can be rented separately or together for large groups of up to 12 people. This newly built home enjoys the best of both worlds; located just off of the main tourist grid of Ubud, Villa Candi Kecil 2 is surrounded by rows of towering palms and rice paddies, but is still only an eight minute drive to the iconic Goa Gajah Temple
and 15 minutes to the town center. Boasting a huge grass lawn, an upstairs yoga and meditation studio and a spacious living and dining area, this villa is a great value for the price in the heart of Bali's cultural hub.
All three of the bedrooms at Villa Candi Kecil 2 are located in a standalone structure across the pool from the main living pavilion. Each are fitted with queen-size, four-poster beds adorned in white linens and mosquito netting, air conditioning, wardrobes and en-suite bathrooms. The middle room can be converted into a pair of twin beds if needed, plus it has a connecting door to the last suite which is especially ideal for families with kids. Every en-suite bathroom is nestled in an open-air garden, offering rain showers, double sinks, WCs and a jacuzzi tub in the third room.
The living and dining room of Villa Candi Kecil 2 beckon groups to join together for communal meals and lounge time. Situated under the vaulted ceiling are three comfy rattan sofas which form an L-shape around the floor seating space, styled tastefully with sitting pillows and bamboo mats. Chill out here, read a book, watch a movie on the TV, whatever! Behind the sofa lounge is a colourful, 12-person dining table, constructed with the reclaimed wood from Balinese fishing boats. Upstairs, guests will find a dedicated meditation and yoga pavilion — open sided with views of the rice paddies, this area was designed for mind and body rejuvenation.
Outdoor & Pool Area
Sitting on over 1400 square meters of land, this villa is in no shortage of indoor or outdoor space. In the middle of the stone patio is a 12 meter pool with a shallow inlet for getting in and out of the water. Next to the pool are a pair of reclining sun chairs and an umbrella, along with a circular outdoor dining table so you can enjoy all of your meals alfresco if you wish. In the corner of the lush garden is a thatched-roof balé, another good spot to retreat to when in need of some privacy or peace and quiet.
