About Villa Samuan Siki

Just a short walk away from Bali's stretched out most popular beach and within minutes from the hustling and bustling center of Seminyak, you can stay in your own private haven at Villa Samuan which consists of the 3 bedroom Villa Samuan Siki and the 2 bedroom Villa Samuan Kalih. Depending on the size of your travel party you can choose to stay at one of these equally beautiful retreats or rent it together as one big private paradise.

Outdoor and pool area

In between the two living compounds of Villa Samuan Siki lies a beautiful tropical garden featuring plants, palm trees, green grass, stone-carved statues and a timber deck surrounding the swimming pool. On the veranda you can sit at the round wooden table enjoying your morning espresso or reading a book and for those wishing to catch a nice tropical tan, the garden also offers sunny areas where you can sunbath on one of the wooden sunbeds. Small children can safely play in the green grass as there is a pool fence available.

The living area

Villa Samuan Siki features two traditional Balinese pavilions, both have glass sliding doors and windows opening up to the villa's outdoor areas making the spaces bright and airy and inside the rooms are decorated with traditional arts, framed posters drawing attention from art-lovers and a stylish wooden interior design. The villa boasts a dining area along with lounge areas and there is a separate cinema room where you can watch 3D movies on the massive screen or pick a book from the impressive book-closet. There is also a well-equipped spa area on-site for in-house massages or luxurious cream baths. The fully equipped kitchen features an espresso machine and everything you need for making your own food but you can also let the chef-cook prepare you delicious meals in the massive staff-kitchen situated in between the two Samuan villas.

The master bedroom

Adjoined to the living area and the garden, you will find the master bedroom featuring a canopied king size bed along with beautiful carpets, a wooden seating area and two old-style red closets. There is also a dressing room with antique sofa and large wardrobe closets containing a safety deposit and fresh kimonos for you can wear after a relaxing bathing-session in the adjoined bathroom.

The guest bedrooms

The two guest bedrooms are furnished with twin beds that can be joined together to make large king size beds. One room is adjoined to the spa room and the other has a small private garden with stone-carved statue. Both the rooms have televisions with DVD players, wardrobe closets with safety deposits and fresh kimonos ready for you to wear after a relaxing rain-shower in the en-suite bathroom.

As a frequent visitor to Bali for over the last 10 years Villa Samuan is for sure The Best Place to stay!! For a perfect vacation I highly recommand this stunning villa for a super relaxing vacation. Villa Samuan is a very stylish, spacious villa. Beautifull decorated and has a good balance of traditional Balinese and modern style with great attention to detail. The location is perfect: in a lovely tranquille neighberhood, just 3 minutes walk from the Beach ( KuDeTa) and many nice restaurants and shops are just around the corner. The quality of service makes a stay at Villa Samuan unforgettable; The staff is very friendly, polite and helpfull. Literally everything is taken care of. From the moment we arrived the service was first class. Every morning the staff prepared a lovely breakfast at the time we desired. If we decided to stay in the villa at the pool we were in a totally beautifull private setting and at lunchtime we were pamperred with a perfect lunch and fresh juices. Also it is possible to have your private dinner at the poolside; we really enjoyed eating under the stars!!! Compliments to the cook; We loved the Indonesian food!! But off course every mealchoice was availible; we just had to let them know what our wishes were; everything was possible. Villa Samuan is great to stay with family and friends. It is a perfect place to relax your mind, body and soul. I really enjoyed the prived massage in the villa!! And I loved my cup of fresh tea in the early morning or coming back from a lovely day at the beach. Thank you very, very much for taking care of us with an exceptional service, delicious food and first class villa!! We are looking forward to come back next summer.

Villa Samuan is one of the most magical places I have been to. There are a couple of factors that make Villa Samuan magical, its lovely architecture, its location, but its the staff thats the cherry on top of the cake. The staff makes you feel at home and are wonderfully kind and helpful. It feels like you have been welcomed into a beautiful home with a loving family to go with it. The villa is a lovely place to go to with your loved ones, its a place where you can relax and feel completely isolated from the outside world (even though its in the center of Seminyak, 5 min walk from restaurants, shops, bars and of course beaches). I would recommend everybody that will ever step a foot on Bali to stay in Villa Samuan, even if its only for a night. Me and my friends will hopefully return to Bali and if we do Villa Samuan is on top of our list!! Thank you for the lovely stay, Lotte.

For the last part of our journey, my friends and I stayed at the Villa Samuan, which was by far the best place we'd stayed in Indonesia. Upon arrival we were greeted with a cold beverage by the friendly staff who told us about the history of the villa and showed us around. One of the things I found most astonishing was that the entire villa was spotless (which is hard to find in Indonesia, even in the nicer hotels). The staff was friendly and professional, and always close by to answer any questions or take care of any special requests. The villa was gorgeous and impeccably decorated, making the villa feel cosmopolitan and timeless. The location was in a nice quite neighborhood; The beach was only a short walk away and so was the Seminyak shopping area making it the perfect spot to stay in Seminyak. I would definitely recommend the Villa Samuan to any of my friends traveling to Bali!

The villa is beautiful and in such a great location. Just a walk away to all the fab spots in seminyak. My only complaint about it was that the pool was freezing. It was one of those dark coloured pools and it just did not heat up, so we really didnt use it (and had kids with us who will swim in anything). The staff were good, not as present or as attentive as in other villas, and some people may like that. One manager knew to come and ask in the afternoon if we needed anything and then we all sat in the garden, relaxed and ate and drank. Very comfortable villa. Same breakfast day in and out got a bit tedious but we just went out but if you are looking for a villa with a great chef and team , this i dont think is it. it can be opened in a number of combinations. It was just the freezing pool that was the downside.

Breathtaking is often overused, not here! Stepping into this wonderfull place on earth will litterally make you hold your breath. It is a calming experience and everything you'r looking for in Bali. The well balanced proportions, beautiful interior and fantastic staff will make you want to sell your own home and move in! We where visiting Villa Samuan earlier this year (March), and much more often then I'd like to, I am still thinking about the wonderfull stay we had. The above mentioned interior is fantastic. An open living room leads to the villa pool is great for cooling off after reading your holiday literature in this oasis the owners can call home (we where Lucky enough to meet the owners, the most open & kindhearted people). If you'r done reading, the villa is a short walk from the beach and/or mainstreet. If you'r not the walking kind of person, since it's a holiday the friendly staff will be happy to arrange transportation to suit your needs and do daytrips. To make things 'worse', food and drinks prepared by the pro-active staff are wonderfull. So the only real danger of Villa Samuan is that they should call it Hotel California, "you can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave".
