10/10We took advantage of the public holiday which fell on 25 March , 2016 and our extended family of 8 adults went to Bali. Some relatives from Java joined us there. We enjoyed our stay at the Villa Samudra. The staff comprising Kadek, Nyaman, Desak, Suka, Chowot were excellent. Not forgetting our driver Putu. They were consistently polite, attentive and accommodated all our requests. I hope I have mentioned all the names and if I missed anyone or misspelt any name, my apologies. The views of the sunrise and sunset were breathtaking. The black beach was quite a sight. The younger members enjoyed their runs on that beach. My 86 year old mother who is a fantastic cook herself declared that she enjoyed all the food at the villa. Our compliments to the chef. She astutely observed that there was something for everyone. During our short stay, Putu managed to drive us safely to see all the must see touristy places like Ubud and Kintamani. If we have any complaint it is the fact that our trip was too short !!
10/10My husband, myself and my sister stayed at Samudra for five days when we were in Bali for a family wedding. It was such a lovely place to stay, great views over looking the ocean, nicely furnished, lovely gardens and pool and the staff were just great.. Nothing was too much trouble. We ate a the villa a number of times and the chef there produced some great meals. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to others. The only thing I would comment on was that I thought our downstairs bedroom was in need of painting and one or tho other areas of the villa also. Don't let that put you off though, it was great!
10/10Having out wedding reception at the Villa samudra was one of the best decisions that we made. The venue and staff exceeded our expectations!. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and Villa Samudra was extremely flexible with us. For sure i will celebrate one of our anniversary in villa Samudra, and I would definitely recommend this venue to everyone that I know.
