With alang-alang thatched roofs, hewed stone Balinese wall-art, timber-decking and marble flooring, Villa Maharaj is an eclectic setting that melts together a contemporarily-designed architecture and a ethnically rich interior. The villa features a spacious alfresco living area, 4-ensuite bedrooms with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors and even a massage balé!
The marble-floored master bedroom boasts a walk-in wardrobe, a semi-outdoor en-suite bathroom (with rainshower features), air-conditioning as well as ceiling fan facilities. Located on the ground floor, its floor-to-ceiling windows open to Villa Maharaj’s glistening aqua waters and fresh-mown grass. Nestled on the first floor, is the king-sized guest suite that extends to a junior room (considerably fit for a child/nanny). The guest suite has a similar alfresco patio and en-suite bathroom as the master below.
Two queen-sized ensuite bedrooms are enclosed with mahogany louvre shutters that squint toward the private pool. Complete with a desk, a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathrooms (with rainshower facilities) - the two suites also share a wooden-panelled deck.
The villa’s free-formed, 12-by-4 meter private pool sprawls across the main villa’s garden perimeters and has a shallow-end for children. A massage balé featuring 2 beds, 4 sunloungers with a couple of matching patio umbrellas accompany the pool deck.
The wooden-floored living area features 3 separate seating arrangements: a low-lying round table casually seating 6, a pair of olive-green sofas and a formal teak dining table seating 8. The living room allows guests to enjoy the authentic tropical breeze while lounging in the open-aired space.
Villa Maharaj’s full-set of help is ready upon request – including your own daily housekeeping staff and villa security. With a small extra change, a private chef, chauffeur, car rentals, babysitting and professional spa services can easily be arranged.
Located in bustling Seminyak, guests are walking-distance away from the sprawling “eat-street”. Villa Maharaj neighbours the tasteful Trattoria and Ultimo as well as fine restaurants suchlike Biku and Sarong.
Take a stroll by Petitenget beach or perhaps a short drive to La Plancha’s vibrant beanbags and umbrellas set by the shore. Crowd favourite nightlife destinations, Ku De Ta, Motel Mexicola, and Potato Head Beach Club, are few blocks down the road.
Villa Maharaj exceeded our expectations! The pool and living area was definitely the highlight - we could have happily stayed by the pool all day. The staff were so lovely too. Such a beautiful villa in a great location.
Love the staff and love the villa. Right in Seminyak, and the area is alive with new restaurants from my last visit. Looking for a piece of peace in heart of town - Villa Maharaj.
Can't fault the Maharaj in any way. Location in Seminyak is perfect. Staff are amazing. 4 adults and 3 teenagers(2 family's) had the best time for 9 days. Accomodation far exceeded our expectations.
As a family we have stayed in many Villa's in Bali- it is our preferred accomodation. The MahaRaj is as exactly as it looks on the net however exceeds expectations once your there. Due largely in part to the staff of this Villa. We had the most incredible time and lived liked royalty!The pool was incredible and the sense of space and gorgeous grounds was a luxury for a private Villa.You could not getter a better location in Seminyak! We miss The MahaRaj and now just wish it could be our permanent residence!
