Villa Aquarama Satu is a wonderful 5-bedroom holiday retreat with a unique concept of three double-storey parental suites, each housing two bedrooms: the parents’ room on ground level and the kids’ room upstairs on mezzanine level. Villa Aquarama Satu makes the perfect holiday retreat for large families wanting to stay in a spacious and peaceful tropical-style villa that exudes traditional Balinese charm. The garden is huge, boasting an inviting private swimming pool and the location is superb, right in the center of Sanur. The Aquarama villas are named after a Riva boat that the friendly French owner used to own, and you can really tell that much love was gone into the building of these villas. Feel Welcome!
Villa Aquarama Satu features 3 parental suites, each with a spacious bedroom on ground level and a kids’ or guest bedrooms upstairs on the mezzanine levels of the pavilions. To reach the bedrooms upstairs, you will have to pass through the bedrooms downstairs. All of the rooms have their own air-conditioning unit and they are equipped with TVs with DVD-players for entertainment, before sleeping perfectly on the comfy double or twin beds. All three pavilions share one bathroom together, fitted with a rain shower, washbasin and toilet. Bathroom guest amenities are offered complimentary.
The villa has a gigantic tropical garden planted with high swaying palms and scenting frangipani trees, creating the perfect tropical ambiance for your holiday on Bali island. There is a large green grass lawn to run around on, a stunning curved infinity pool with a shallow area for the kids and lots of comfy beanbags and sun-loungers placed around the pool on the veranda. The best hangout spot is the traditional fisherman's boat topped by a tropical alang-alang rooftop. Here, you can dine outdoors, alfresco style, share a bottle of chilled white wine or sip homemade cocktails in the afternoon. The bar is also fitted with electricity plugs so you can play music and browse the internet on your laptop.
The tropical open-plan living pavilion has a high turquoise painted Balinese roof that contrasts beautifully with the striking white design of the house. The villa features traditional whitewashed wooden carved furniture and it is decorated with roof-matching turquoise colored artifacts and cool vintage radios. From everywhere in the living space, you can enjoy the garden view which is not only a lovely sight but it also comes in handy for families traveling with little kids, as they can easily keep an eye on them. There is a massive flat-screen TV with international channels and a DVD-player where the whole family can watch movies together, curled up in between the turquoise pillows of the comfy sofa lounge. Meals are enjoyed at the square wooden dining table, beneath a dramatic chandelier and the kitchen features a stone-carved bar with coloured backlights. Get your drinks here while playing a game of pool on the billiard table in the evening, after the kids have gone to bed. The access to the pavilion and the guest toilet are wheel-chair friendly.
Friendly staff will make sure your stay will be most pleasurable. The manager speaks English, French and Indonesian for your convenience. There is personal guest assistance, daily housekeeping and full-time security. Laundry service is offered for an additional fee.
The villa is located in a private lane in the center of Sanur, a charming beach town with lots of restaurants and shops yet not nearly as busy as the center of Kuta or Seminyak. The beach is beautiful and calm, perfect for kids to safely swim and for the adventurous ones, there is the possibility to try windsurfing and kitesurfing. A big supermarket is found just a short walk away from your front door and so is the main street of Sanur where you can enjoy a meal at one of the renowned restaurants such as Grocer & Grind and Bali Budda.
We could not have asked for a better place to spend our time while on holiday in Bali. The Villa was absolutely perfect! There is wifi available and the rooms are well air conditioned. The staff was always available to fix any issues that may have come up. We asked to rent motor bikes, within 30 minutes we all had a bike and were ready to go. The staff is available to cook, clean, massage, and other things. Just asked and Ferra will take care of it. The Villa is within 5 minutes of the beach. This area has plenty of shopping, restaurants, pubs, and other entertainment all within walking distance but still had the low key vibe. The pool and common area really made our trip. The place was absolutely beautiful. We had our wonderful cook Martini make us breakfast and several wonderful dinners for a small fee. We all highly recommend her, not only for her cooking, but her friendship. Overall, I would highly recommend this Villa for your next trip to Bali.
