Villa Asri is a hidden gem found in a traditional Balinese village surrounded by rainforest, rice paddies and bordered by the peaceful Penet river, giving you an absolute peaceful holiday home where you can unwind completely in an utterly tropical setting. Villa Asri features traditional alang-alang roofed pavilions overlooking the gorgeous river valley and in the evening you can retreat to your private air-conditioned villa suite and wake up slowly on your private balcony to the sounds of nature.

Outdoor and pool area

The breathtaking terraced garden is planted with lush greenery and colourful scenting flowers. It leads down all the way to the peaceful river valley that is surrounded by rainforest with ancient tropical trees. The stunning edged infinity pool could not look any more inviting with its crystal clear water overflowing to a lower level of the garden. The gazebo perched on the edge of the valley is ideal for practising yoga and meditation, especially in the early morning to the sounds nature. After a dive into the swimming pool you can sunbathe on the pool-side loungers, rejuvenate with a traditional Balinese massage or enjoy a meal at the alfresco dining balé.

The living area

The living room is designed traditional open-plan, embracing the tropical life. Beneath the high soaring thatched roof, this restful space features a comfy lounge area to curl up with a book or watch some TV and a teak dining table with chic orange chairs for enjoying meals together with the right music playing from the Bose music system.

The master bedroom

The king-bedded master suite has a Balinese garden of its own, perfect for those seeking a truly quiet and peaceful environment to meditate or finally read that book. The room is also equipped with modern amenities such as AC, a fridge and a TV with DVD-player for watching movies in a more intimate setting. The curtained day-bed makes a nice place for day-time snoozing and it is also perfectly suitable for kids to sleep on. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and a rain-shower.

The guest bedrooms

The two river suites are located down the valley on the lower garden level with access to the plunge pool, great for an early morning dive. The rooms are adjoined by private balconies overhanging the valley The air-conditioned rooms are fitted with large king-size beds and they also feature mini-bars and coffee / tea stations. There are generous dressing areas and the en-suite bathrooms boast a rain-showers and bathtubs to soak in.

Staff and services

Villa Asri has is staffed with six dedicated people, who will welcome you with warm Balinese hospitality and take great care of you during your stay. There is daily housekeeping, personal assistance when needed, night security and a personal driver who knows al the best kept secrets of the island. In-villa massages, yoga sessions or a private chef cook can all be arranged for you upon request.

Villa Asri is surrounded by nothing else but Bali's original habitat of endless rice-paddies and ancient rain forests along with rural villages where you can see the authentic daily life of busy markets and mystical ceremonies at the village temples. You will feel miles and miles away from the tourists hustle and bustle, however if you feel like spending a day at the beach or wonder around a vibrant town with souvenir shops, spas and restaurants, the fashionable centre of Seminyak or cultural Ubud or easy to reach by car.
